Sarah Painters: A Personal Analysis

How would you change the Tax code? Balance the Budget? Pay down the US debt?

There have been forty-four U.S. Presidents over the past two hundred and twenty four years. Some were very successful. Of those few historians, Abraham Lincoln was one of the greatest presidents that ever live. He is responsible for preserving the union, freeing the slaves, and enacting various new policies. Lincoln was a president that never gave up and put his people first. He was strong, confident and believes in his principles. Some of the presidents were least successful. Of those few historians, Herbert Hoover wasn’t very successful while he was in office. He was considered to be a terrible president because an awful thing occurred on his watch. Which was the Great Depression.

Throughout the history of the United States, the country has seen several different presidents of varying degrees of success. Some have been declared the greatest in history, while others are despised for being incapable of making the best decisions for the country. Presidents have been hailed for moving America forward during a time of turmoil and others have been accused of seeking personal gain.

In all of history there have been a lot of presidents. Each did something different in their four to eight year term, some were good to this beloved country and some were just god right awful. but I always asked myself "Which President was the best?" or "Which did better for this country?". And as the years went by I have figured out that Abraham Lincoln was the best president that lived because he handled a civil war that could have torn this country in half and issued the Emancipation Proclamation to end all slavery.

The United States has had 43 Presidents, each president has left behind a legacy. Some were more notable than others. I believe the best president we have had is Abraham Lincoln. There are several reasons why I can believe Abraham Lincoln is the best president the U.S. has had out of the 43.

I think the best president the united sates had was John F Kennedy. I believe this because lots of great things happened during his presidency. Such as "The Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the establishment of the Peace Corps, developments in the Space Race..." Those are just a few reasons on why i think he is the best president the united states have had. He also served in the military as a commander during world war 2.

My presidential run for office would be based off being truthful. I would tell the United States how the government has been taking money from them and spending it irresponsibly. I want to fix the United States because they fail to use money effectually. There needs to be someone that steps in and fixes the problem. When the people of the U.S. votes me into office that will be my task.

For decades there have been many presidents, only few are remembered for doing remarkable things throughout history. The president that I think is the strongest president is Abraham Lincoln because of his role during the Civil War which brought us to peace.

The best US president was easily Abraham Lincoln. He accomplished a lot of things as president such as putting an end to slavery as well as he had plenty of amazing speeches that had some of the best quotes and these together made the people love him.

The best United States president is Abraham Lincoln. A survey from 2014 by America Political Science Association, voted Abraham Lincoln as the best U.S. president. (Washington Post, 1) Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves, took care of the civil war, and was a civil rights activist. I think he is the best president we have had because of these reasons.

J. Allen St. John is best known for his portrayals of Tarzan in Edgar Rice Burroughs' series of books about the man raised by apes. He created vivid, muscular images for action-oriented stories, spanning from Tarzan to Alice in Wonderland. He also illustrated popular magazines like Women's Day. St. John's greatest asset as an artist was his ability to convey character with a few, vivid brushstrokes. St. John's pictures are idealized in that his heroes and heroines have few physical flaws, but are realistic in the sense that they tell a story. Although artistic, the primary impetus behind his commercial creations was story-telling, rather than self-realization. He seldom used caricature, and his works are always recognizably human, seldom humorous or grotesque.

"A picture can paint a thousand words." I found the one picture in my mind that does paint a thousand words and more. It was a couple of weeks ago when I saw this picture in the writing center; the writing center is part of State College. The beautiful colors caught my eye. I was so enchanted by the painting, I lost the group I was with. When I heard about the observation essay, where we have to write about a person or thing in the city that catches your eye. I knew right away that I wanted to write about the painting. I don’t know why, but I felt that the painting was describing the way I felt at that moment.
