The holiday season is among us. Halloween begins in the fall when the leaves start to change colors and fall of the trees. Christmas begins in winter when the snow hits the ground and the weather gets mighty cold. Halloween is when the spookier things come out. When most people think of Halloween they think of pumpkins and candy. Christmas is a time for giving gifts and being with family. Christmas is usually associated with Santa Clause and his worker elves. Although to most people these holidays may seem very different, there are also some similarities between the two. These differences and similarities can be seen in the dressing up, the celebrations, and the giving.

I don’t think it is because it is shy but because it has no need for human interaction. Bigfoot just like deer isn’t shy but is frightened by humans yet is also curious. Deer when hearing an odd sound will prop their head up and look around and if they notice something out of the ordinary they will run with all their power to get away. In that way I think Bigfoot is the same. Sasquatch will investigate things that are out of the ordinary but when it notices something that shouldn't be there will leave but won't leave in a hurry because I believe it knows that it is more powerful and stronger than other things in

Have you ever not been trick or treating on Halloween? Well I have. It all started October 31st 2015.

For Halloween I didn't dress up as anything. Growing up in Zimbabwe we never really celebrated it, so when we moved to America nothing changed. I do eat candy that is given to me, but I don't actively go "trick or treating" or dress up in costumes myself. Hope this earns me some type of extra-credit, because I do need it.

The pumpkin spice article reminded me of Halloween, and how I set up a haunted “house” with my grandparents in St. George. It took a few hours to set up the alleyways that people would walk through, and to set up the props, get a soundtrack, get the lighting right, and get the candy from the store. Overall, The reunion of my friends and me, scary situations occurring and a chance to see tons of disturbing and decorated houses, some with fake graves, makes Halloween super impressive for me.A lot of people like wearing beautiful costumes, relaxing and just roaming around but for me, Trick-or-Treating is just spectacular. As soon as my eyes reach the clock, they bulge out of their sockets as I notice it is eight o'clock which means the time for Trick-or-Treating has finished, but I am content with how much chocolate I got. I didn't count it, but I am sure it will be more than three

It takes a lot of confidence to fall into this category because the only explanations for going trick-or-treating is to own up to it or make an excuse that your sibling is dragging you along and you deserve a treat too. The fight carries on until 8 o’clock when peoples lights start to go out and bowls become empty. Finally getting home looking back down at your bag you know you’ve made the right choice.

By far, the most enjoyable part of Halloween is wearing a costume. For one night, people are allowed to be whomever they wish to be. Of all the things to be, Ronald Reagan would have to be the best.

Seeing a witch, goblin, ghoul or two walking the streets is expected only during Halloween. And while frights are all part of the fun, no one should have to witness a truly scary scene while trick-or-treating.
