The infamous Sasuke
In every superhero story, there is a beginning, middle and an happy ending. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a superhero is a benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers, such as Superman, but Sasuke, is no ordinary super hero. Sasuke's appearance demonstrates his dedication and hard work towards the inja society. Sasuke may look like your average day teenager, however, his appearance as a teenager affects the way people think of him as a ninja this is why Sasuke differs from different superheros. Sasuke's powers and abilities clearly help define what a very strong ninja is, from his outstanding speed to his amazing fire powers he possessed from his clan. Sasuke is most known for his fighting styles and appearances, but Sasuke's kind, soft words and messages help Sasuke persuade the enemy into not fighting at all. Although Sasuke may not seem like a superhero at all, his acts of kindness, appearances and strong powers is what makes him capable of fighting evil and developing new skills throughout his journey.

Sasuke's sharp red eyes makes him look strong. Only the best of the best ninjas have his red eyes like Madara, a former ninja that was the strongest ninja,
The word “hero“ is a very short word with a very long meaning. The image that comes up when most people hear the word “hero“ is normally a man with a cape, tights, and a “S” in the middle of his chest, along with a chiseled jaw, muscular arms and body, and dreamy eyes. This image is often thought of when the word “hero” pops up in conversation, although you don’t have to have supernatural powers or fight against evil mad scientists to be considered as a hero.
As mentioned earlier, Miss Sasagawara does possess worthy merits such as being intellectual and refined. However, her merits are disregarded simply because she was different in appearance from the rest. Yamamoto uses Miss Sasagawara’s character to challenge the presupposed notion that people who are different are necessarily not of value and thus unable to contribute positively to society. There should not be a belittling attitude taken, such as the reception Miss Sasagawara received when she took upon herself to teach a class of girls ballet, and was the only adult rewarded with a bath towel, an intimate gift that she had to open in front of the audience, bearing in mind that this very act could possibly be seen as humiliating based on traditional conservative Japanese culture.
Cultural structures are often very complex and unique guidelines that vary across the globe. These cultural aspects provide a prominent background into the lives of each society respectfully, as seen often throughout the historic piece of literature, The Tale of Genji. Three crucial aspects depicted in the novel’s progression are the role of women, Buddhism, and the political configuration, each containing positive and negative attributes prevalent in the tale. China was a powerful nation at the time, and during this age, these three societal concepts were important, yet controversial at times. These concepts can all be related directly back to the central character, Genji, along with the other vital people who, not
The Samurai’s Tale is about a young boy named Taro, who had became the hero of the story. The main characters in the story was Lord Akiyama, Lord Takeda Shingen, and Togan. This story took place in Japan around the 16th century. The story began with Taro, Murakami Harutomo, arguing with his mother about what she had been telling him to wear for an event that was going to happen without him knowing about. Later that day Taro saw that soldiers came attacking his house, his mother leaving him with Yone in a chest trying to keep them safe in a storehouse that had laid behind the house. A soldier then found them both and took them out of the chest, then as they walked out of the store hold, he found his mother on the ground dead. A plot twist that
Sometimes tragic things happen within a community, but it’s how we rebuild that defines us. Through suffering we learn from our past to grow our communities in the spirit of a hopeful future by being courageous and resilient.

Being a Fujita she is tough and doesn't take any nonsense from anyone. When on missions she usually likes to take charge the second people start messing around. She has her sensitive side which she only show to her family and friends truly caring for them. She cares for her siblings more though knowing that the life a ninja is dangerous. She takes any attack on herself or the ones she cares about seriously, stopping at nothing to protect them and her village.
The one story that stood out to me the most was Sakai Saburo's in Japan at War. I found his story about being a pilot to be quite interesting. The one reason it stuck out to me is the amount and depth of the detail that he uses in all parts of his story.
Kenichi Shirahama (白浜 兼) is a hero because he only fought because he had to. Kenichi fought to protect his friends and to get rid of the gang ragnarok. Kenichi’s masters has said he has no natural talent for martial arts. He does have determination to keep learning so he does learn martial arts. Kenichi does not have the intent to kill which leads to his opponents to under estimate him which is why he wins a lot of battles. Even when kenichi loses he still trains and goes back to win.
However he immediately wants to break down the myths that samurai were much more than warriors with some social status and the ninja were not black clad “enemies of the samurai” but were instead, “ a specialist branch of the samurai warfare and were and integral part of the Japanese war machine” (Cummins 82). In his chapter about samurai, he talks about various samurai fighting techniques, fortresses and camps and how shinobi fit in and what their roles were as a samurai class member. Moreover, in this section he attests to some of the causes of the Samurai and in turn ninja mystique, and the true origins of ninja within the Iga and Koga clans and how warriors of the clans jizamurai came to be. Some parts of this text have translating from other Sengoku period war texts. The third chapter focuses on much of the same things with more focus on partial historical ninja texts/scrolls translated by Antony
In Tsuentomo Yamamoto’s exert, The Bushido, he establishes his thoughts and opinions on the way of the Samurai and the extensive level of change in customs between 30 years, from the time he wrote this piece, and 50 to 60 years prior to that as well. He states that 50 to 60 years anteceding the time of Yamamoto, samurais were much more devout to their master and thought none of oneself. In this they also maintained their appearance, not for admiration among society but for elegance. He feels that within the past 30 years the young samurai have begun to disrespect the way of the samurai by being self absorbed and primarily concerned with, and I quote, “money matters, loss and gain, secrets, clothing styles or matters of sex.” Overall, more modern
Gaining unimaginable power from his intense training, Saitama spends his days fighting monsters threatening human life. Overtime he has become desensitized to the thrill of fighting, feeling unchallenged. Why does he feel the need to find a worthy opponent? At first one would think that there was no need, and that he shouldn’t be questioning his existence. Closer analyzing his past, a possible reason for Saitama seeking a worthy opponent could be that he wanted to truly test his vigorous training. Within the series he had explained that his training had caused him excruciating pain. Looking in a different perspective, he also could’ve wanted to experience what he had felt during, and after his first encounter of the man crab. Not only was he
Being a samurai takes much courage and loyalty, something that many of us may not have today. Courage was an important trait to the samurai because they had to be able to keep their promise of fighting for their lord no matter what it might cost them. This had gained them respect from others. A way courage is shown today can be by someone standing up for themselves or others, whether it is a family member, friend, peer, or even a stranger. Another big way courage is contributed now by people facing their fears and not letting the negativity ruin their chances at success. We should follow the way the samurai acted on this characteristic. However, instead of us making a promise to fight for our lord we should make a promise to ourselves to fight
The word samurai means “to serve” samurai were fearless, professional warriors who committed themselves to one lord (king) whole heartedly with honor being the main focus, the samurai class reigned in japan from 1185 to 1867. Highly skilled in swordsmanship, archery and horseback riding, also they followed a strict code called bushido. The code of bushido literally means “way of the warrior” and it’s a combination of frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery, and honor unto death. The code of bushido has a set of values and they are courage, benevolence, respect, sincerity, honor and loyalty. The code of bushido also covered other aspects like proper grooming, how to take care of one’s house hold and ways to raise children.
The character I’ve chosen is Shouto Todoroki My Hero Academia, which is written by Horikoshi Kouhei. He’s also one of the main protagonists of the story. Todoroki is generally calm, blunt, and cold. I find it funny how unintelligent he is when it comes to other people’s emotions, and even though he means well sometimes, his words sometimes come off as harsh. He’s mainly portrayed as a calm and collected individual, but Todoroki can get riled up sometimes. Additionally, he’s not one to easily let go of his anger or hatred towards others.
