Book Vs. Nature Nature? What is the effect of nature in your life? In the book The scarlet Letter, is a romanticism book by the Nathaniel Hawthorne the book was originally published on 1850 and tell now this book is one of the well known books around the world. The book is about a woman named Hester Prynne that has commented adultery. The town judge has told her that she needs to wear a letter A on her chest as a punishment at all time. What is the effect of nature in your life? Nature has its effect on people’s life on daily bases. In the book The Scarlet Letter nature has it effect on it in multiple ways the author uses nature as an example for imagery, hyperbole and irony. Colors play a role in the symbolic nature of the background and scenery. But, similar to the characters, the text tells you what role the colors or the light plays. In Chapter 16,Dimmesdale and Hester meet each other in the forest the color of the clouds represents Dimmesdale and Hester souls "gray expanse of cloud" The author uses the gray clouds as an imagery so we can have an idea how dark Dimmesdale and Hester souls are. The author uses clouds because In this case the clouds are representing Dimmesdale and Hester souls the clouds not always black or gray they are mostly white they turn gray wants it wants to rain and when it rains they go back to there actual color white in this case when Dimmesdale and Hester confesses to the judge and stop lying there soul would no longer be dark and gray it would be free of any guilt and there sols would be in peace just like the
