School Districts Should Provide Homework Research

In my opinion i think kids should have less homework. One of my reasons is it will take the stress of your shoulders. I also think this because say you have to study for a test on monday and because all the homework you get a bad grade.In addishion, this is why i think kids should have less homework.

Should schools be allowed to give out homework? Many people are swayed in their opinions of if schools should be allowed to give out homework or work you would do out of the classroom. Schools should be banned from handing out homework for many reasons where this is just three of them. A school district in tennessee banned homework because some kids do not have the resources at home to complete homework. Another reason is it will bring grades up because being out of the classroom gives people many opportunities to cheat which causes grades to drop because they aren't learning the material, whereas if the work was done in class these kids wouldn't be able to cheat and it would make them learn it. Others may argue that it will give the kids less practice which will bring their grades down where that is not necessarily true.

All schools in the United States should make homework optional. In today's education system every student is required to go to school from ages starting from 5 up until he/she is 17 or 18. We teach all of our students that there is no way around hard work and if you want to make a living you must do what your told, and that is going to school, getting good grades, and potentially going to college and finding a job. This is unquestionable, whether a student agrees with it or not this will never change, but this is not the disputed point.

Students should not have homework. First here are my reasons why some kids don't do it . According to resch 10 % out of 20% students don't do homework. Scond students should have time for some fun stuff. 20 % out of 6 % students play games 8 hours a day in school and students have game, clubs, stuff and go until 8/9 hours a night and don't get a nuff sleep. Third homework sometimes it reck the sports. And Kids don't study and kids don't use class time they talk instead of doing homework. Next kids don't fish there homework don't want to do it. 30% out 40 % do it in team team study is only 42 minutes. After school 15 minutes go to relaxing that why we should have no homework.

I believe that the school district should not get rid of homework. If the school district gets rid of homework, students will not get into good colleges and universities like their parents want them to.

The amount of homework given to students should decrease. The extensive amount of homework takes away family time that is necessary to child development. Also, stress that can can come with homework can cause health issues. The amount of homework given to students can cause students to cheat off students answers because they did not finish. Also, most of the homework that is assigned is not necessary in learning the material.

Shopping at the mall and hanging out with friends is much more important than doing homework. Why are students required to do homework anyway? It’s a waste of time so they should not be required to do homework. Homework is causing stress, which is resulting in students spending less quality time with their families as well as with their friends. It is also causing students to feel burned out and to not be engaged with school as they should be. Even though students need to learn how to manage their time more effectively, including budgeting time to complete homework assignments, they should not be required to do homework. Students should not be required to do homework because it stresses out students.

Looking back on my public school education, I recall traipsing home from school with elation. Finally, I was free from sitting, thinking, and working! Then, my mother would inquire about homework and my evening would go up in proverbial flames. Today, homework continues to be a topic of heated debate. Some believe that homework reinforces what students learn at school while others protest that the amount of work drags students down. So, what action are schools and teachers taking for or against homework?

The first reason students should not be given homework is that with extra curricular activities like sports or clubs, there is no time for homework. One may have to wake up at 5:30, go to school until 2:55, then go to practice until 7:30. Then they must eat, do homework, and shower. By the time everything is done, it is 10:00. The student would jump into bed and fall asleep then repeat the process over and over. With this schedule the student would be exhausted and not able to focus. Some people have the mindset that school district shouldn't get rid of homework because homework can help out a student in many ways ,but i disagree with that I believe that the the school district should get rid of homework.why because it shows that it has almost no benefits on the students ,and it can make students hate school.

Have you ever wanted to just shred up your homework or throw it out the window and have no consequences? Kids are assigned daily homework from the time they start kindergarten at the ripe young age of five. Is it really necessary? Does it even help better learning or even higher test scores? The first reason I think that kids should get time to work on homework in class because there would be less incomplete, late or missing assignments. Students would have more of the work done and will need less time to complete the work at home. They would also be able to get help if they got stuck on a question and get the assignment finished.

I believe that the school district should not get rid of homework. It is important that we get all the help we can get. School can be hard sometimes, so homework helps us understand the work more.

To start off, I strongly believe that the school district shouldn't continue assigning homework to us students, and here's why. This could lead to kids being less motivated about school and possibly become down about themselves.

Originally homework was used because it was believed that it could improve the scores of students if they have more practice, but over the years this argument has been disproven.
