The two killers are the only ones that are responsible in the killing. Although, they did have some side help with getting all the weapons and plans for the day of the massacre no one even had an idea that a school shooting was crossing the boys near future. I think the characters that feel guilty even though they had no idea what was to come are those that had any interaction with the two boys. I could only imagine the feeling of guilt for Robyn who purchased the two shotguns for the boys, although she never knew they would use those same guns for the school shooting, the aftermath of it all must bring terrible guilt upon her. Although Dylan nor Eric has much interaction after school with some of their close classmates, a huge

Connecticut, Georgia, Colorado, Virginia, Oregon, Michigan, and Tennessee are the sites in which some of the most viscous school crimes have occurred. In this day and age it seems as if school isn't a safe haven for America's children anymore. School shootings are on the rise more than ever in today's society with kids as young as 9 years old committing these gruesome crimes against their classmates and instructors. To see this type of action among kids is heartbreaking and sad. People wonder what makes a child want to kill another or how did they get their little hands on such a powerful weapon. Coverage of these events depicts walking on a college campus to that of walking in Fallujah. These news stories lead one to believe that it is not safe to be on a college campus. Your life is in danger if you want to get a higher education.
Violent crime has risen 20% over the last decade, there are may reasons why, such as the great recession, the increase of narcotic use, the break down of the family unit, or a dozen other reasons. However, the debate on how we as a society deal with violent crime is also debatable, many would say that we need more prisons, law enforcement officers, or longer prison terms. However, there are the others who are more tolerant, and would have you believe that violent crime in not on the increase, moreover, would suggest that the system is broke and the prisons should open the gates and let out all non violent offenders out. Society is violent, and this fact is evident in the amount of homicidal acts that take place every day, for example, a day

In October 1997, Luke Woodham was at his home in the morning. He beat and stapped his mother to death. He had hidden a gun under his coat and made his way to his high school in Pearl, Mississippi where he killed two students and severally wounded seven others. The main target was his ex-girlfriend named Christina Menetce. He said that he did intend on shooting her and did not know why he shot the others. When he was in the confessional he pointed out that his mother never loved him. He also stated that she would say very horrible things like he would never amount to nothing in life. They real reason he shot up the school was mainly because of the ex-girlfriend. The ex would flirt with other guys right in front of Luke face. She would also mention to Luke how other guys were cute. When they broke up he was very devastated. He did not eat nor sleep and did not want to live without her. He wanted to show her that he was more stronger and more superior to her. I feel like he wanted all the women to feel like he ws in superior. He describes that he was one moment some kind of weak idiot and in second felt in power over many things but most importantly woman. Crime statics states that boys under eighteen committed a
School rampage shootings, also referred to as mass school shootings, involve one or a small number of perpetrators whose goal is to inflict as much harm as possible on as many people as possible within a school setting. It is a violent act. There is a distinction made between violence and aggression on the continuum of severity . As noted by Bushman and Huesmann (2010), while aggression is an intent to harm another person who does not want to be harmed, violence is aggression with the goal of extreme physical harm which would be severe injury or death. Using this frame of reference, mass shootings in schools are clearly acts of violence whereas school bullying, and depending on the context, school
