Schools Need Extra Money For School Activities

Many students every year are forced to leave school and have nowhere to go. With many of these children in grades 1st-12th, the reason they have nowhere to go is because their parents are too poor for them to be able to pay for them to have a plan after school if the parents cannot make it. This has been a problem for many years and as poverty rises it is only happening more. Many of these schools need extra money to be able to hold after school activities whether it be a hangout after school or an athletic team. These kids need direction and with programs that offer these things, it can be very beneficial to the students.

The problem is occurring in the more populated areas that have more students than they have money. Given that these areas have a higher poverty rate, many of these children are struggling to find post school activities. The problem has grown larger as more and more parents go to work every day and don’t get home until after their children get off. Also, that the wealth distribution in the US is getting much worse and that causes situations in which children are in need of healthy and controlled activities.

The number one goal is to make sure that all kids have somewhere to go after school. With financial struggles of many schools this may be difficult, but with the help of each community it will not be impossible.
