Though religion may be that which determines the goal, it has, nevertheless, learned from science, in the broadest sense, what means will contribute to the attainment of the goals it has set up. But science can only be created by those who are thoroughly imbued with the aspiration toward truth and understanding.

When comparing science and religion there has been a great rift. As long as humanity has believed in a creator there as always been thinkers trying to quantify and evaluate the truth behind religion, trying to disprove or prove a supernatural force.

For most people of the modern age, a clear distinction exists between the truth as professed by religious belief, and the truth as professed by scientific observation. While there are many people who are able to hold scientific as well as religious views, they tend to hold one or the other as being supreme. Therefore, a religious person may ascribe themselves to certain scientific theories, but they will always fall back on their religious teachings when they seek the ultimate truth, and vice versa for a person with a strong trust in the sciences. For most of the early history of humans, religion and science mingled freely with one another, and at times even lent evidence to support each other as being true. However, this all changed

Science is built on surveillance of the Mother Nature, but religion is basically founded on faith. Religious people have faith and believe that God exists. Science and religion were based back in modern days to be the answer to everyone, and society as a whole to handle their issues through the church majority of the time, until science came along and changed the perspective of everyone’s outlook on how they were to solve their conflicts. Within the world today they both still exist and are still being put to use for its main purpose which is to create answers to things we face that need a solution.

The common narrative surrounding science and religion is that they are contradictory. People believe science is just a way to prove religion wrong, and so far science has remarkable accuracy. But science does not work against religion, rather science defends religion, and in some cases helps create deeper understanding of religion. Science is a tool used to describe the natural world and what inhabits it. This tool is universal in a sense that it can be used to test almost everything from how old the earth is to predictions on the future. By observing, questioning, and testing mankind has grown mentally and scientifically over the decades but there is still one question that has yet to be fully answered or discussed; can science and religion be used to explain our existence? A comprehensive worldview could possibly be the common ground needed to describe how both religion and science could explain how mankind began.
