"If the cowboy breaks the barrier he receives a ten second penalty onto his time" (Tie-Down Roping). Tie-down roping is not a dangerous event but it is still one of the best events to watch.
A calling/vocation is something that brings meaning to someone’s life, its something they’re meant to do. In todays society financial standings play a huge role in how people perceive you. From the reading must my job be the primary source of my identity, the author states “these historical social realities have often escaped Americans who have tended to elevate paid employment to a position of premier importance both for individuals and for the society as a whole” (p182). I think many people have focused their future careers on how much they’ll make or what people might think rather than doing what makes them happy. College is an important time in someone’s life where they’re preparing for their future job I think
As I begun reading Indiana and Florida’s state medical acts finding there are many similar, however, different criteria for medical assistant’s job duties are quite unique in my opinion. Personally, I did not realize every state had their own criteria for a medical assistant’s job duties. Therefore, I found this assignment very interesting and educational for myself due to enrolling into Indiana Business College for medical assistants, however, upon becoming pregnant and almost losing my son I had to withdraw and unfortunately was not able to complete my education.
“Gender the quality is not a woman's issue, it is a human issue. It affects us all”. What does that mean? It means that all people are created equal in God's eyes. Yet this is still a serious topic that has been going on for ages and ages. Even in the sports industry. In today's world there is been a new law called Title IX. Title IX has been around for a long time now, yet it still creates a controversy. Many people put title IX only with sports, but that is what it is only involved in. It is involved in things like education, occupational things also. This paper will talk about Woman's life before Title IX, Title IX his head a kooky past history., who and what it applies to, how it has helped men and woman, how it has helped woman, if it

I plan on using the knowledge learned in my academic courses to create clubs for weather to show how the severe weather warning systems work, and how to possibly better them. Club creation will then lead to bettering the knowledge of my fellow students when it comes to science and weather of the atmosphere earth has been situated

Council Bill 20-409 establishes adequacy by addressing the social concern of marijuana possession in small amounts for personal use. Prior to the bill, individuals were charged with a criminal offense which remains on their permanent record. Having said violation on a permanent record potentially has negative effects on employment status and housing options. The bill, which decriminalizes small amounts of marijuana now provides for individuals caught in possession the opportunity for a self-sufficient life.
Unit 10 was a closure for the previous four units in the process of inventing Canada. This unit based on the earliest resources on Canadian history and on the first nations whom lived in this country. This resources were about pre-Cartier and his explorations. Some nations, for example the people who lived in St. Lawrence valley – whom did not have a specific name to be called at- and historians still lacking enough evidence on their existence or what happened with them. These people who are identified as St. Lawrence Iroquoians were lived in the contact area which means the conquerors reached them first. The Iroquoians were exposed to all the dangers Europeans carried into the native lands, different types of diseases they were not immune

. I agree that rather than expanding their knowledge, students go to college just to get a degree in a specific job field. The reason for this is because very few people can afford extra classes that they are not required to take. Instead students should better prepare their selves so if the job they wanted isn’t available, they can adapt to change.

These small groups usually consisted of three to five students. In these small groups, we developed effective communication skills in order to accomplish the tasks at hand. In some activities, verbal communication was not allowed. We had to work together as a team to overcome that challenge. Once the small group challenges were completed, we moved onto larger group challenges. Here, the students within the groups used their relationships and communication skills to build trust. I say trust because the upcoming challenges were part of the high ropes course. Here students had to rely on the strength and ability of each member to complete the task. These activities were both physically and mentally challenging. We had to work as a team to overcome the fear of heights and accomplish tasks that seemed impossible. Finally, once this series of events was completed we moved on to the whole group events. I specifically noted one as the "Asking for Help Maze." In this scenario we were all blindfolded and led to the beginning of a maze. We could only navigate by following the rope in front of us. The trick is, is that the maze never ended, there was no
My first goal is to stay on top of any reading in english class throughout the year. I chose this because although I love reading, I’m generally a slow reader and this causes me to get discouraged and fall behind at some points. I plan to achieve this goal by not procrastinating, and trying my hardest to stay focus on the book instead of outside distractions. One way to achieve this would be insuring that wherever I read is quiet and free of distractions. By doing so, this will help me focus on the words, and hopefully speed up my reading pace. My second goal is becoming more physically active. I chose this goal because as the school year goes on I seem to become less and less physically active as I am busy with school work. School is always my top priority, but my
