Over the course of history, the historical information regarding Jesus Christ has been interpreted by many different individuals and has led to different beliefs and views regarding the existence of Jesus Christ as a real man. Today I will be interpreting this evidence and i will be attempting to answer the question “Was Jesus Christ a real man?”. The evidence I will be looking at to answer this question will be information regarding the context of Jesus Christ, the historical accounts of non-Christian authors as well as the evidence for the Bible which is the main source regarding the life of Jesus Christ.

William Ellsworth “Dummy” Hoy was born May 23, 1862 in Houcktown, Ohio. Hoy was born hearing, but went deaf from meningitis at the age of three. He went on to graduate from the Ohio School for the Deaf as class valedictorian. After graduating, Hoy opened a shoe repair shop in his hometown. While playing baseball on the weekends, Hoy earned a professional contract with an Oshkosh, Wisconsin team in 1886. In 1888 Hoy was signed on by the Washington Nationals as only the third deaf professional baseball player ever. In his rookie year, he led the league in stolen bases and finished second with 69 walks. The legend of Black Aggie is one of Baltimore’s most popular legends. You could ask anyone about Black Aggie and, most likely, they would have an experience of their own to share. To briefly explain, Aggie is a cemetery statue. She was located just a few miles outside of Baltimore City in Pikesville’s, Druid Ridge Cemetery. Her head is bowed and she is black in color and in mood. Surrounding Aggie, were dead trees and lifeless grass. Nothing would grow around her. I was wearing my Aaron Judge shirt sitting in my seat when the game started the first two innings was scoreless.
