I’m highly interested in the RN opening in your office now available at Capital Area Pediatrics. I am a recent nursing graduate from Northern Virginia Community College. Throughout my education and clinical experiences on different units, I have obtained the knowledge on tasks such as doing physical examinations, administering medication, giving injections, and much more both for adult and pediatric care. The target on family-centered care in your mission statement is exactly the environment I am looking to work in.
There are a number of recommendations, investigations and considerations that can be implemented to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children. Firstly, Cara is a good option for Lydia and Lilly to be temporarily placed with as she shares the same cultural values and is known to the family however it is clear that due to Cara’s age and her situation of already caring for two other children her capacity to care for the Lydia and Lilly is low. Where possible the younger Pederson children should be placed into temporary kinship foster care. It is evident that child welfare professionals agree that children are better off being placed with kin as they demonstrate a stronger sense of belonging when place in kinship foster care and kinship foster care present many benefits to children such as identity formation (Beeman & Boisen, 1999). Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar is currently staying out of the spotlight as the Duggar family continues to hear rumors and news about more alleged improprieties of the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. At this point, it doesn’t matter if the allegations are true as the Duggar family fans are disillusioned with the situation as it doesn’t compare to the former TLC show “19 Kids and Counting.” According to Hollywood Gossip on Friday, other Christian reality stars, Jase and Missy Robertson are suggesting Anna Duggar divorce Josh Duggar and move on.
The Winton Place Youth Center was founded as a result of a tragic act of violence involving a youth child who did not have after school options available resulting in the child hanging out on the streets until their parents returned home. The community rallied together to develop and provide a safe affordable environment for youth to participate in after schools hours. The virtue that can be assigned to the WPYC is compassion. The agency serves youth of various family compositions and understands that each child and their situation are unique to them. The social work value that WPYC built their foundation upon and continues to build upon is importance of human

According to the Administration for Children & Families (2014) case plans are formed by child protection staff and families who work together to identify goals for the family (Laracuente, 2016). A case plan is a written text that explains why the child is considered to be in need of protection, it provides a lucid statement of the functions and responsibilities of all participants in addressing the child 's care and security needs (Laracuente, 2016). Furthermore, a case plan must also include stipulations that address the child’s developmental needs and assist them to gain the skills and sense of well-being that will allow them to realize their ability (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010). All activities, discussions, and contact with the child and family will be guided by the case plan while it is in effect (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010). Case planning is a method used to provide services that identify needs, sets goals and determines the importance of actions that are to be taken by a client or the social service worker. Case planning can, therefore; be described as the process of assessment, organizing, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual’s needs through communication and available resources (McBain, Sedky, Kjerulf, 2010).Often the goals of the case planning focus on maximizing children 's safety and diminishing their risk of harming the purpose of the ongoing intervention, outcomes, and actions required to achieve the goals (Laracuente, 2016).
Westmount Nursing Inc. is a for profit chain with seven different nursing homes. It has a grown from a small few bed facility to a facility with 4 different divisions that made to help make seniors more independent. The Westmount Nursing Homes were in search for a chief executive officer and president, which was filled by Shirley Carpenter. After Shirley Carpenter came on to the company, many changes were made and implemented. Some implementations were successfully, but she was also challenged with many problems with the Union Federation of Nurses and the Board of directors regarding wages and total quality management implementation. My recommendation would be for Shirley to stop the implementation of total quality management and focus on
Duggar family: We will overcome all obstacles & treat it as another page of life
Throughout our nation’s history, various forms of executions (such as hanging, electrocution, crucifixion, drowning, beatings, stoning, lethal injections, along with many other methods) have taken place as punishments for those who have committed crime. Our nation should stop and ask ourselves, what is capital punishment? Capital punishment is simply defined as one person taking the life of another. It is deliberate manslaughter and first degree murder. The death of one human being by another is an act so profound that one cannot simply flip a switch, blink an eye, and have it all be over. The tragedy of a loss of life is as terrible as sanctioned killing is. There are many reasons why punishment
