In the year 2020 after multiple failed debates,Kanye West was still elected president of the United States of America. Two weeks ago Kanye was just shot and killed shopping in a Target by Donald Trump.North West, Kanye’s daughter and vice president and next in line to being elected.President North was the worst president by far, North often blew off conferences to play with friends.North eventually made school days twice a month and sold all rights of America to Canada. The focus of this investigation will be “To what extend did the conflict between cultures and all they contain (languages, traditions, races) fuel the formation of the Canadian Confederation?” and will analyze how the different cultures, races, languages, and traditions fueled the formation of the Canadian confederation. There are a variety of reasons why the Canadian confederation formed, but I believe the conflict between the different cultures in Canada was a very large cause in the formation of the Confederation. I will research the specific conflicts in culture that were occurring in Canada pre-Confederation. How these conflicts affected the current government and life in Canada. Why Canadian leaders saw these conflicts as a reason to

The Council of Canadians are a nationwide group, consisting of over 100,000 members, within 60 chapters all across Canada. Each meeting, the Council of Canadians devise an agenda to discuss; this meeting consisted of issues surrounding the Standing Rock protest, government plans for Mount Carleton,
Two emerging trends in Canada’s healthcare system are the aging population and higher survival rates from accidents and injuries. These are just two of the many current trends affecting the field of occupational therapy. Occupational Therapists are health care professionals that provide occupational therapy, which enables people to perform the occupations that encourage and promote health and well-being. Furthermore, this enables a fair society which allows individuals to participate to their potential in their daily occupations of life. Since Occupational Therapists work in diverse settings such as homes and communities, institutions, and industries and businesses, these health care professionals are well positioned to play a leadership role on healthcare teams.

The Government of Canada does a lot of things. Everything from providing us with transportation to making sure everyone has a say in parliament. This group is made up of citizens that we elect to run this country and provide the citizen with a pretty good quality of life. This is the opinion is held by most Canadians. Unfortunately, some still think that we do not live as good a life here as we could somewhere else. Yes, the Government provides and maintains a high quality of life for its citizens. Social Programs provide assistance financially and physically to people that are in need of it. As Canadians, we have an abundance of freedoms and rights to protect us and our government is run as a democracy, where everyone gets a say.
When taking the time to review the early beginnings of Canadian history through the events that would go onto lead to confederation, it is possible to realize the intent that is found in regards to the founding of the country from being a collection of colonies for the British Empire. This all in all establishes and investigation to the economic, social, political, and environmental events/ideas to go on to understand the nature of the formation of Canada, as well as the influences that would go on to the development of the national identity.
Since 1867, Canada has been attempting to become its own independent nation. Canada has been trying to achieve its freedom from external control and influence from the United Kingdom, and be rewarded with the right of self-government. Canadian leaders and heroes have been persistent on proving that Canada is capable of growing up and separating from its mother country, Britain. This sovereignty could bring Canada many opportunities, which she would have never come close to, as a colony of the British. Canada has dreamed of being able to make its own decisions, as a child would dream of becoming an adult. Over the years, Canada has proven this and become more autonomous through wars, treaties and its relationship with countries all over the
Black-Canadians have shaped Canadian heritage and identity through their involvement in Canada’s legal system, athleticism, and representation as powerful role models. Looking back at the history of Black-Canadians, African-Canadians have suffered from constant discrimination in the 1800s - a time where slavery was the number one form of racism-as well as during the Human Rights Movement in the 1960s and 1970s. The vivid historical backgrounds of Black-Canadians, who come from places like Africa and the Caribbean, have enhanced Canada’s reputation of being a country of diversity. Multiculturalism is not only seen by those who call it home, but also through the eyes of our neighbouring
“Protection of life is NOT a legitimate use for a firearm in this country sir! Not! That is expressly ruled out!"- Justice Minister Allan Rock, 1994. Guns are highly controlled in Canada for a reason, because if they were not, where would Canada be now? Canada would be in anarchy as they slowly watch their country slip into violence and on to its impending doom(Hyperbole). To think back on life, whether 19 years of age or 90 years of age, has there ever been a time where safety is found in holding a gun, or a situation that felt a gun would have been necessary?
In the wake of recent events myself and the Canadian Government would like to release a statement on the current state of our country’s race relations. Last month with the recent riots in Baltimore that took place on the 28th of april following Freddie Gray 's funeral. Freddie Gray was a member of a sadly impoverished community of African-Americans in Baltimore who like many others in such a situation had trouble with the police. These riots were preceded by peaceful protests that shed light on the current state of America’s police system but sadly they were overshadowed by riots and violence.
In this essay I will be discussing the effects of colonialism and it’s and impact to not only the history and progression of Canada and its identity, but how it affected different groups in society. The colonization of First Nation people has giving Canada a historically greedy belligerent reputation. Various topics in relation to colonialism can be discussed in detail, but in regards to this essay, I will be specifically analyzing the relationship between the concept of colonialism and missing and murdered aboriginal women. The lack of knowledge and awareness of this topic is the main concern to why it is present in today’s society. In this essay, I will first define the concept of colonialism and how it really molded Canada’s appearance.
The Indian does not exist. It is an imaginary figure, according to Daniel Francis (The Imaginary Indian), invented by Europeans that originated in Columbus's mistake, as he believed he had landed in the East Indies, and developed into fantasy. "Through the prism of white hopes, fears and prejudices, indigenous Americans would be seen to have lost contact with reality and to have become 'Indians'; that is anything non-Natives wanted them to be," (5). Thus they were attributed a wide range of conflicting characteristics, simultaneously seen as noble savages, full of stoicism, the last representatives of a dying race and blood-thirsty warriors, void of emotion and dull-witted, reflecting European
The government in Canada is often confused and lost to many who do not understand the way in which all parts of the government take a part to run Canada. With so many people, it is easy to not know who or what a Governor General is. What the Senate is, or if the Queen is still part of the Canadian government. When breaking the government down, there are about five major parts to the Canadian government: The Queen, Governor General, Prime Minister, the Cabinet, and finally the Senate. With Canada having been a union with Britain in the early days, many people believe the Queen has a lot of power in the decisions made in Canada.
