Selection Criteria
Candidates must have these requirements to successfully apply for a position at Drinks Academy:
• A passion for Customer service
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) permit
• Some knowledge of wine, spirits and beer but not essential
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have immaculate presentation
• Must be able to handle stressful environments
Additional Requirements may include:
• Perform repetitive lifting or other similar tasks
• A willingness and ability to listen and follow instructions
• Ability to work flexible retail hours from 20th November- 20th January

Due to the nature of this role at Drinks Academy, this position is going to be aimed at high school and university students who have the availability to be able to work at the store. The only legal requirement for the role is that all applicants have to be over the age at 18 and that they all require a RSA certificate. The position will be advertised in areas that correspond to the target market. The Macquarie store requires 15 positions to be filled, with an expectation of 50 applicants.
