For many, an individual with supernatural powers and strength, is what comes to mind when we hear or think of the word “hero”. A hero goes far beyond possessing such qualities. Without a doubt, a hero is an individual who carries integrity and is willing to self-sacrifice, put others’ needs ahead of their own, and is determined to place their own life at serious risk to try to make somebody else's life better. Although there are many heroes out there in the world, only a few are determined to do good, no matter the cost. Integrity is the quality of being truthful and showing good moral character when there is nobody at sight. Miep Gies, a woman who helped people during the Holocaust, showed her integrity when she did not hesitate to help the Anne Frank family. She was not Jewish and she could have been killed for advocating for the Frank family but she helped them anyways. My hero will have integrity because he will know that his inner ethics must match up with his actions, this dependability he displays is a very admirable trait. Chesley Sullenberger a commercial pilot showed his confidence when he disregarded the Airline Safety instructions and stuck with his instinct of landing the plane on the Hudson River. My hero has confidence because he knows that to be a hero he must trust his instincts thinking about what will create the safest outcome. Ernest Shackleton

On the first night, Buffy couldn’t go to sleep because he was feeling uncomfortable and Mikaelsen heard a cry. He went outside and saw Buffy wide awake. For the first 6 months, Mikaelsen laid Buffy to sleep and spent hours feeding him, playing with him and watching him to make sure Buffy is safe. Buffy is said to play very human like because his muscle structure and coordination are those of a human. Mikaelsen had kept Buffy for 27 years until he died on September 1st,
Sinner or saint is a significant dichotomy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Several characters are able to bridge this: Spike and Buffy being two of the notable examples, playing both roles throughout the series. However, the female vampires of the series consistently fall into the latter category of sinner, and not only that, but a sexually deviant or hyper sexualized sinner. There are no recurring female vampires in the show that do not become categorized in this extreme way. Drusilla was once a nun, but once turned, all of that religious devotion disappears.

Buffy Summers is a princess- not the typical ball gown and magical princess though. She is a princess for a few reasons other than being related to royalty. In the show, Giles tells the gang the only way to kill the monsters is a scream, later Buffy screams just like how in the story the princess screams. When she screams she remembers how Mr. Giles was telling the story of how the princess screamed and killed the monsters. The monsters hate noise which is why they take the voices of others and die
Buffy the Vampire Slayer directed by Joss Whedon was an American television series which came to air on March the 10th, 1997 until the last season in May, 2003. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was based on a young woman named Buffy Summers, who battled against vampires and demons in her hometown Sunnydale. Buffy was depicted as a strong female role model who was extremely loyal to her sister Dawn and her best friend Willow. She also gained a lot of power through fighting the vampires and demons, again showing her strong female role modelling in the series. Buffy was also a good listener to Giles her watcher/mentor and surrogate father figure, many of the techniques he taught her helped with her strength when fighting against the demons. Some of the features and film devices used to describe Buffy as a character included the camera angles and shots as well as the lighting techniques. These film devices and techniques were used throughout the series to help present Buffy as a strong female character. Buffy can also be compared to other strong fictional female role models such as, Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games (22ndMarch 2012), and a slightly weaker character, Elle Woods from Legally Blonde (11thOctober 2001). Consequently, Katniss was presented as a great role model because her qualities were admired and she was hard to like by other characters in the story, she also comes across as tough and hostile, whereas Elle was able to face challenges of being labelled as ‘the dumb

Buffy showed me that you can start off knowing nothing and being an outcast, and still become the greatest at what you do. The message is that you can be a high school girl, but can make an impact on the world. This is reinforced by when in the series finale the power to be a slayer is unleashed to every potential slayer in the world. The spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is Angel, a show about Buffy’s love interest Angel, who is a vampire with a soul.
Throughout the 20th and 21st century race relations have been a substantial issue. Some issues have went through trial, and others have not. Even today in society, race related matters are still continuing. One is being targeted for the color of their skin, the traditional clothes they wear, and the principals they believe in. Many trials have been brought to court but there are an abundance of other situations that have not been brought to the eyes of others.
There are many defining qualities that a hero must display. Hero’s don’t need to be stereotyped as one who jumps off tall buildings to save people, or dressed up in fancy costumes. Hero’s however, all have a few things in common. In general, a hero is usually defined by a combination of qualities including moral integrity, mental acuity, a spirit of self-sacrifice, and determination. Importantly, a hero's abilities must be employed for a good cause, usually the protection of the weak.
Buffy and Riley like each other but there unable to communicate their feelings because of language. they believe that they need to lie to each other about their nightly duties. When they lose their voices, they’re are no barriers that stop buffy and riley feelings of each other and they are able to kiss. Although I am not familiar with the customs of Islam, I do believe that wearing such pieces like the burqa is ultimately by choice. Like many religions, there is some sort of scripture that was written as a guideline for the purpose of living life in a certain way. The Koran does require that both men and women should conduct themselves in a modest manner, including attire, however, the Koran does not explicitly state that women must be dressed in garments such as the burka. Therefore, it is women themselves who have either chosen to wear the garment or was forced too due to other contributing factors. To go into further detail, I do believe that some women are pressured to abide by such code of conduct because of strict, religious values of some Islamic husbands who could be classified as possessive or oppressive. With this in mind, other reasons for Islamic women to wear conservative garments maybe due entirely to their religious obligations, while on the other hand, there are women who would just wear a burqa because of cultural reasons.
