There was so much screaming and crying Ahyoka couldn't even see five feet in front of her, with tears clouding her vision. Sequoia, her four year old daughter, was bawling, kicking, and screaming as she tried to calm her down. The white soldiers started pulling them both away from their home, and they brought them to the stockades. At the stockades there was limited food, and none of it was healthy. The air was frigid in the winter, with lots of people dying due to the cold and lack of medicine.
