South Point Delta High School was the first high school in Lawrence County, Ohio outside of the city of Ironton. The first class met in 1913 or 1914 (sources differ) and had less than forty students. The first building specifically constructed for the school was completed in 1916, with a large addition done in 1936. Since then, three more schools have been built to accommodate the high school student population as it grew.
Last year, at Kingsland High School’s Graduation Ceremony, Josie Hinze not only receiveed her High School Diploma, but also her Associates of Arts Degree before even attending any college or university. Fast-forward to one year later, and seven Kingsland students will be graduating high school with both their High School Diploma and AA Degree thanks to the collaboration of Riverland Community College and Kingsland High School for allowing high school students to take college-level courses in high school and receive college credit for them. Not only that, but there are several others who will be graduating Kingsland High School with transferrable college credit so their first few semesters might

1. ) With new technology such as Satellites scanning the surface of the earth, cartographers can use geographic information science or (GIS) to help them make more detailed and accurate maps. This has allowed scientists to get very precise and complex information from all of the data coming from the satellite orbiting around the earth at all different distances and angles. Another use for all of the Satellites is remote sensing, this allows satellite images to be scanned in thin lines any time a satellite could scan a small area or a pixel. With this we can look at very small features of earth from space and removals send it back down to earth for Analysis. A scientist can use this tech for making very accurate maps about features such as population
the essential purpose of higher education. Nonetheless, future students should still be hesitant in choosing whether to attend UCF or SSC. Consider the cost of tuition and housing rates before choosing between these schools. The third solution would be to close both Arthur Hill and Saginaw High school and build a new high school. This solution was presented by the mayor of Saginaw. The mayor feels that it will be in the best need of the city to move forward with a new identity. The mayor acknowledges that it will be a difficult process to sacrifice the culture, mascots and historical buildings. Both high schools Saginaw High and Arthur Hill have years of rich history and traditions. The new high school would be a newly built school that will be located in downtown Saginaw or in another central location. The school will also have an International Baccalaureate High school which will have an increase in science and math curriculum by allowing courses in science

Well it was January and teachers were ready for Spring 2008. The area superintendent was first on the morning agenda to share that Principal Mrs. C would no longer be a part of Creek Middle School, as she had decided to leave the district and seek employment elsewhere. The area superintendent was also there to introduce the interim principal that would be leading the campus until further notice. As Principal Mrs. D was being introduced teachers were whispering to one another about what was taking place at Creek Middle School. Principal Mrs. D took the floor and shared with staff about her experience as a teacher and principal. Mrs. D had actually retired after 35 years in education, and was a part of the district interim program where retirees
I took a risk when I decided to apply for College of Southern Nevada High School. Taking classes that counted towards both high school and college credit appealed to me, but I knew that the courses would be demanding. I’ve had setbacks, but I’ve also had triumphs.
Making this plan possible funding will be used from existing accounts from non-profit and philanthropic organizations. Also, different steps need to be taken into consideration for implementation of a different curriculum. Special programs for students need to be done to integrate programs into a culture-based curriculum rather than as add-on curriculum. Appropriate training for teachers also needs to be taken into account to ensure the experiences that occur in the community and correlate that in to the classroom. Decreasing the native student dropout rate, lessons need to be more academically interesting with updated textbooks, and a strategic plan to make things more interesting than boring; which has constituted too many students leaving. Records have shown that students that disrupt and fail are allowed to continue attendance without any alternative put in place; a system needs to be developed to separate and reform. Development of dropout prevention programs which track students and provide community based intervention, support, and treatment programs along with mental guidelines will need to be
