As a Technology & Engineering Educator, Technology Student Association (TSA) Advisors, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) volunteer; I have no indecisiveness in writing this letter of recommendation for Serena DiLoreto. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Serena for three years. During my time of knowing her in FCA, Digital Media and as a Cadet teacher she has displayed charismatic personality that’s infections to others, which makes her a natural leader.
As a student at Conemaugh Township, Serena is highly intelligent, has an admirable work ethic, and passionate about everything she does. Conversely, during her three years at CT she challenged herself, while preparing for her future career in education by taking several college level

When chaos hit salem, it all started from a lie told by Abigail. The lie she told harmed the people who had nothing to do with it. The results caused innocent people to be tortured and/or killed.
In their writings Katherine Boo and Doris Pilkington described the challenges faced by two very different families in two very different societies. In the excerpt from Behind The Beautiful Forevers Katherine Boo shares the story of a Muslim boy named Abdul, the challenges of his family as he works to get them out of the slums of India. In the excerpt from Rabbit Proof Fence Doris Pilkington tells of Kundilla an elder in the Aboriginal tribe describing their lives before and after the white raiders attack.

This letter is to inform the families of Loretta Ann Bourque and David LeBlanc about Sister Helen Prejean’s viewpoint of capital punishment. Loretta, age 18, and her fiancé, David, age 16, attended a high school football game together. Later that evening, the couple went to an isolated area of St. Martin Parish, which is known by many young couples as “lover’s lane.” Patrick Sonnier then took the two away, twenty-one miles away to a location in Iberia Parish.
Psychotherapist Kate Huntington and her P.I. husband end up at odds over a case when Skip’s undercover operative is shot and the alleged shooter is one of Kate’s clients, a man suffering from severe social anxiety.
“Go often to the house of a friend, for weeds soon choke up the unused path” is a Swedish proverb. This proverb means that one should make an effort to check up on their friends and always try. All people know they must talk to their friends to keep them. Or, try and help out to keep something working. Not much is known about the origin of this proverb even though it is popular. It is important to live by “go often to the house of a friend; for weeds soon choke up the unused path” which can be shown through Kitty Kallen, Beryl Grey, 11 Birthdays, and the United Way drive.
was told not to ever go because the white man would kill her. She was constantly reminded how of much the white man hate black people. Mrs. Johnson reported that she can remember hearing about black men being hung by white men. She can remember seeing images on television of black people being mistreated due to their fight for justice. Mrs. Johnson said she was 11 years old when the four black girls were bombed at 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. This was a societal event that affected her as a young girl. She told her mother she was afraid to go to church, because of that event. Her mother gave her the speech that would last her a life time. Mrs. Johnson said her mother told her to never live her life in fear. Her
Karina’s life story shows her determination and the drive she displays in order to achieve want she wants. Originally, Karina is from Puerto Cortes which is a city in Honduras. She left her parents’ home in her junior year of high school to move to San Pedro in order to peruse a better education. The idea of moving far away for a high school degree is foreign to me, and her drive to receive the best education possible is inspiring. A lot of students that I know dread going to high school, while Karina moved away from her country in order to attend the best high school possible for her. Later, Karina decided she wanted to come to Philadelphia because it was far from anything she has ever known. I admire this in her because I do not think I

In today’s society, there are those of whom conform to stereotypical expectations in the world. Then there are those who do not conform, they yearn for a change in those expectations.
Dedé is filled with sorrow and emptiness for the life she has chosen, nothing fulfilling her the way she wishes. Jaimito dominates her, she is not allowed to see her sisters, and her sisters possess the adventure she has always wanted. When she sees them walk toward her in union, she compares them to the three fates: the incarnations of destiny and life. She does this because these mythical creatures spin the thread of life and determine how long one lives, which is exactly what her sisters are doing to her. By trying to involve her in the revolution, they determine how the course of her life is going to take place. Her life is hanging by a thread at the moment because of her overcoming emotions, and so it could be easily cut and altered; especially since Dedé has always been the docile child. Her sisters represent a kind of courage and sacrifice to Dedé, sacrificing their own safety for the
I think Singer provided a very complicated argument. He did classify that pirates is illegal. He given an example about his colleague send him a pirated book which he also can borrow from library (Singer). In both condition, he get the book for free, but he read the book from his colleague, or he read the book from library leading him to the opposite of moral condition. He also told about his students’ attitude about download free electron item online (Singer). I think Singer used these two examples questioning his readers. First, do we need to blame a person who sharing the pirates because she want to help others without repay? Or do we have right to share the pirates because we are not seeking profit? Second, does a thing consider as right
Power is seen throughout the book Serena by Ron Rash, in many different ways. Something to be desired, to be feared, or to be used as a way of control, power is very present in the lives of Mr. Pemberton and his wife, Serena. Total power over others, the power to rule without objection and protest is the most noticeable. This is the type of power that Serena holds; a complete power and captivation over everyone she meets. But the power she possesses still isn’t enough for her, and throughout the entire book Serena continues to gain power over others and use this power, adding intensity to the meaning of the book. For Serena, power is only the beginning.
