What was the reasoning behind having Wil get shot at the end of the story? How did the topic of sex trafficking first come to mind? What was the reasoning behind keeping the laptop around for Aggie to find? Answer: If it wasn’t for Jack leaving his computer behind there would be no lead on him. The whole reason the girls were found was because Wil and his friend Scott searched Jack’s entire computer. They found several documents and emails about what he was doing and were able to set up a plan to help the girls escape. Why did you include the part where Wil talks about getting email threats? Answer: Because of the email threats, Wil and his team were more on guard the night of the party. Wil made it so everyone attending had a gold object

Nothing drives emotions out the window more than hearing about innocent children being used for sex. In Cambodia, sex trafficking has grown into a troublesome issue. Human trafficking brings in billions of dollars into the U.S and all around the world. “The prime motive for such outrageous abuse is simple: money. In this $12 billion global business just one woman trafficked into the industrialized world can net her captors an average $67,000 a year” (Baird 2007). The laws around human trafficking are not strict and vary depending on what country it is happening in. Chapter seven is principally about providing helpful suggestion that can further enhance encouraging efforts to combat sex trafficking. The chapter starts off by implicating the use of the research findings that were found to be effective with sex trafficking victims. These proposals are not meant to be perceived as the remedy to aiding sex trafficking, but to cultivate additional research on these methods. These methods include survivor-informed programming, survivor defined practices, trauma-informed practices, and sex-trafficking-specific services. Further, the chapter begins to talk about the services that are needed for labor trafficking victims. Translating agencies, labor-specific services, and housing are examples of services that labor
Theresa Flores, a girl from Detroit, was 15 years old when a boy she had a crush on from school offered her a ride home. Instead of taking her home he brought her back to his house where he insisted she come in. Red flags went off in Theresa’s head, but he told her he liked her, and that’s all it took to convince her to come inside. He offered her a soda laced with drugs that made her become dizzy, and then he raped her. The next day at school the boy and his friends informed her of the pictures they had taken of her, and threatened her to “earn the pictures back”, or they would share the pictures with everyone at school, her church, and to her family. From that day on, every night Theresa would receive a call around midnight and the boys would pick her up and bring her to random houses where often several men would be waiting for her. This continued for almost two years till her family relocated (Zukowski, 2015). This is one example of a girl being lured into sex trafficking as a teen and is one out of an estimated 800,000 women and children that are trafficked across international borders every year (Facts on human trafficking and sex slavery, 2012). Sex trafficking is a huge issue today and is only continuing to grow as an industry. In order to put an end to this horrifying issue more action must be taken in order for a difference of significance to be made. However, in order to take action people must understand the essence of what it is,
There are many things that can be included in a search warrant in the case of a sex trafficking case, they may include, but are not limited to condoms, lubricants, personal documents, telephone bills, bank records, photographs, credit card receipts, and condom wrappers (Swanson et at., pg. 354, 2012). The search warrant may include condoms for the reason that they can help determine those that were involved in the sexual assault of those that are victim to sex trafficking. The condom wrappers are used as an additional step to connect someone’s fingerprints on the wrapper to the DNA found in a condom at the crime scene.

Sex trafficking is a form of modern slavery that exists throughout the United States and globally. Sex traffickers use violence, threats, lies, debt bondage, and other forms of coercion to compel adults and children to engage in commercial sex acts against their will. Under U.S. federal law, any minor under the age of 18 years induced into commercial sex is a victim of sex trafficking. The situations that sex trafficking victims face vary. Many victims become romantically involved with someone who then forces or manipulates them into prostitution. Others are taken in with false promises of a job, such as modeling or dancing. Some are forced to sell sex by their parents or other family members. They may be involved in a trafficking situation
Around the world children are being exploited daily through a variety of disturbing practices. The United States of America is the land of the free, the home of the brave, and the number one producer of Child Pornography in the world. (1 Kutcher) It is a frightening statistic. Child sex trafficking is the second most lucrative crime business around the world. It is second only to the business of narcotics trafficking. (3 The CNN Freedom Project) Education on the topic is crucial in order to develop a local, as well as a global, solution in the fight to save children from this heinous act upon their innocence. It is necessary to understand how children get introduced and pulled into this way of life, ways the children are exploited, and what's being done to stop these horrific crimes against the children.

The sex industry is rather large in Hungary and the majority of prostitutes who are called “sex workers” willingly participate in their act. There are many reasons why they choose this “occupation”. With the recent economic downturn numerous people were left without a job, and they need to act to survive. Most of these people decide to work as a prostitute, because the poverty level is high, they don't have opportunities to train for new jobs or their educational level is low to reach another level or society. The absolute majority strongly believe that their activity is merely a source
