“Wake up!” A familiar voice pierced the silent room as I jumped out of my bed, cold sweat running down my forehead. I looked towards my wooden bedroom door, which was being pounded by someone on the other side. It seemed like someone was trying to open it. In alarm, I got up and quickly made my way towards the door, immediately remembering that I had locked it last night. What a smart move, Juliet. I internally slapped myself as my eyes skimmed the room and landed on the keys on my nightstand. Another scream then “Jacklyn!” My mother yelled in panic from the other side of the door. I heaved a sigh of frustration as I reached for the golden key. I clasped my hand around the key. However, being the clumsy person I am, it slipped from my shaking hand and landed on the wooden ground. I let out a yell and bent down to pick it up again. That was when a loud explosion came from the other side of the door which soon collapsed into a puddle of ash on the ground. I stared in horror as a young man came …show more content…
“Our only way out of this place is your bedroom window! Come on!” I didn’t need any convincing, I just ran towards the window and violently flung it open. The night air didn’t seem to comfort me like it usually did. I looked down, thinking that we were lucky to be living on the ground level. I hopped out as my brother cautiously left the room, making sure to hold tight to my mum. As we ran towards the neighboring houses, I heard a few masculine yells coming from my bedroom. Millions of the thought raced through my head, I was ready to block them. Panic is not an option now. A moment later, my older brother gestured for me to run towards the house that opposed our small building. While I made my way through the streets, I noticed that some people had left the safety of their homes and were watching the incident in fright. I was glad and relived to see people on their phones. Hopefully calling
My mother was out of town, so I knew it was not her. I grew afraid of the strange woman in my house, the maroon-colored walls in my bedroom was giving me an ominous feeling, making my room look stained with blood. I went quietly out of my door and down the hallway, knowing that they were arguing in the kitchen by the volume of their voices. I paused in the middle of the hall, unsure whether to continue or to go back to my bedroom. I only decided on the former after I heard a muffled shout and the woman’s voice laughing. This decision was the biggest mistake of my life.
I am heartbroken over the deaths of my master and friend, Romeo, Juliet, who brought Romeo great happiness, and county Paris, who I knew to be a very honorable man. I hope that this court session will bring justice for Romeo, Juliet, and Paris. To help bring this justice, I will truthfully tell you all that I know.

Dizzy: that’s how I feel right now; completely dizzy. And everything is so blurry. Why? Why can’t I see…oh there we go! Everything is precise; but wrong. Where am I? “Juliet!” I call out. “I’m here Mercutio,” Juliet waves back. “Tybalt, Romeo, and Benvolio are all near me. Don’t worry.” “Mercutio!” Tybalt cries out and we embrace. “Oh no, oh no; we’ve been abducted. Oh dear,” Romeo keeps mumbling. “Shut up Romeo,” Benvolio groans as he rubs his temples. “Oh thank heavens, we’re all here,” Juliet says. “Yes, but where are we?” I ask. “Well it’s very hot in here, almost like a scorching fire.” Juliet points out. “Quite right,” I reply. Suddenly, a whole wall explodes, and a demon charges at us on all eight legs. “Run!” Tybalt says. We all run through the maze of hallways. I can feel myself get tired, panting for breath, yet I can’t slow down. I look back to see if the demon-creature is following us, but I can’t see it. I can hear it, feel its presence, but I can’t see it. It’s like I am going blind and unexpectedly everything blackens.

No sounds come from inside the home. Just the twinkling of the stars overhead, and my breaking into someone’s home. Perfect. Nothing unusual here. It’s eight p.m. on a Friday night, and the entire house is pitch black. Hopefully, that means the bastard isn’t home. Nobody goes to bed at eight, right? He has to be out, probably cracking up over the girl dumb enough to lose her family’s heirloom. I heave the window the rest of the way up cringing at its squeal. I go completely still, gulping down breaths to stay quiet. My heart nearly
It was late Tuesday, and I was up late reading an allegory when a muffled thud pulled me back to reality. I sat up still as a statue while I listened. the sound seemed to be coming from downstairs. I sprang out of bed and ran into the across the hallway.
I propped my head on my hand, straining to stay awake. School was so monotonous. Everything bored me. It was laughably easy for myself. Of course, I was incredibly smart. I’m not just saying that. I tested at genius level. I was offered a full ride scholarship to all the ivy league schools, but my mom didn’t want me that far from home. We made a deal, one year at the university close to home, and then I could go to the college of my choice. I thought it was pretty selfish of her to try to destroy my future so she could still see her baby boy.

My task was done so I retired to my room for a moment. The monsters were in the kitchen, most likely touching our scattered items. Just milliseconds away from placing my hand on the door knob, I heard an ear shattering scream followed by a small voice squealing “My eye! My eye!” They’re kids, they’re probably just playing. Did he hit her with something? Do I even want to go in there? Is her eye gone? My hand placed itself on the door knob. My fingertips felt like static white noise on a T.V. I worked up the courage to open the door. I ran to the scene and I witnessed my mother violently splashing water in the girl’s face. My father, the two men, and the little boy were all standing in the doorway watching and then monster number one begins hysterically laughing. I grabbed the sinister little child by the shoulder and spun him around and catechized. I asked him what happened but he kept laughing. My legs moved before my mind told them to. They stepped over to the wailing girl and my sporadic mother. My hands reached up to her head where it moved to soothe her. As my lungs were taking in slow deep breaths they began to hitch. My eyes pooled with water and my throat began to sear. Found the strong desire to cough. I announced that there was something in the air. After more investigation, the sound jingling of keys catches my attention. My father raises the lanyard, which has my car keys, and after close
First I wanted to apologize if I came off flippant with my answers. Unlike my sister I have very little experience dealing with court issues. Last evening I was thinking about the question "How is your relationship with your sister?". I felt the need to explain my answer. In the past years things were fine until there was a falling out with our parents. The problem with this was she would cause problems between my mom and dad. But I'm sure that you are aware of the issues this caused.
With smoke coming out from the hood of the car, everyone panicked thinking the car was about to go into flames; like in a movie. The doors were locked, on top of that they weren’t opening. When my brother was about to smash open one of the windows, my mom opened her door and we all ran out. At that moment my whole

Furthermore some researchers also belive that dramatic irony is very prominent in the play, “ One of the more prominent literary devices in the play is irony” (Sauer 673). Romeo and Juliet, and also their friends and families face a lot of instances of dramatic irony in the story. Dramatic irony creates suspense and adds to
Shakespeare’s book the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, is primarily a book about love, but the love people have for each other turns out to create conflict between every one of them. Romeo falls in love with Rosaline at the beginning of the book, but then falls in love with Juliet the moment he lays eyes on her. The major problem is that Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo is a Montague, those two families have been in conflict for generations. Paris is in love with Juliet at the beginning of the play and Juliet is getting forced to marry Paris, but she refuses to. Just to know that after knowing each other not even a full day Romeo and Juliet start planning on getting married, that is definitely considered love. If you could actually take a
