The Shawnee National Forest is one of the most prominent forest in not only Southern Illinois, but also the United States and around the world. A large portion of the Shawnee National Forest provides fish and wildlife habitat. These habitats provide a wide variety of activities to the local area and create quite an economic impact for the region. The many local lakes such as crab orchard, little grassy, cedar, and Glendale lake provide the many actives from fishing, boating, and camping that the many local and even travelers from out of state enjoy. These activities provide many opportunities that other watershed population cannot provide. Such as the quality of water, fish and lakes or ponds that exist. The Shawnee National Forest lakes

There are many unique types of animals in the Blackland Prairie; here are a few examples of animals in the Blackland Prairie. One example of one of these animals is the nine-banded armadillo. The nine-banded armadillo is a large, short and brown armadillo with a long tail and nine lines on its shell (therefore its name). They typically eat grubs, insects, berries, and eggs. This scaly critter lives in most of Texas besides the west, they typically live in woods, brush, grasslands and forests. Another one of the many examples of animals in this diverse ecoregion is the black-tailed prairie dog. These chubby, stubby, brown, and furry balls of cuteness live along the border of Mexico. It lives in dry, flat, sparsely vegetated grasslands. These rodents like to consume things like plants, insects, seeds, and grasses. These items make up most of their diet. They are habitat modifiers just like beavers, they build burrows underground close to each other. These are called towns.
Proof of volcanic activity related to the break-up of Australia and Antarctica is seen at Bunbury, which is located 150km south of Perth, at the point where the basalt is of early Cretaceous, also on the middle Jurassic Kangaroo Island. However, evidence of Cenozoic eruptions is only seen in Eastern Highland. All through the Cenozoic, hot spot volcanic event transpire (Sutherland et al., 1985). Most of these events follow the Miocene (Stephenson et al., 1980) with recent eruptions close to the southern and northern margin of volcanic zone at southeast of South Australia and north Queensland respectively.

Ten thousand years ago, mammoths once inhabited the land we now call home. Where we eat and shop, where we sleep and go to class was once home to these beasts. Standing over fourteen feet tall and with tusks over sixteen feet long these animals found the area now known as Waco their home. I did not know that mammoths even inhabited the Texas, and even more surprised that they lived here in Waco. There are many incredible things that happen here in Waco, and the Waco Mammoth National Park is one of them. This newly sanctioned national park is beautiful and with its incredible history it attracts the attention of thousands of tourists every year. For this park, I analyzed, the quality of the tour and for the tour guide to be informative, if the price of the park is worth the money,

The United States is the 3rd largest nation in the world and is 2nd largest nation on the North American continent. The United States houses some of the most premier land for agriculture and mining in the world. The lowest point in the United States is Death Valley at -86 meters, and the highest point in the United States is Mount Denali, formerly Mount McKinley, at 6,190 meters. The eastern United States towards the Atlantic Ocean is characterized as coastal plains, and it is in this area that most of the population of the United States is located. Deep in the heart of Wyoming’s Yellowstone ecosystem lies 584,781 acres of beautiful land characterized by various lakes and rivers, lush meadows, high plateaus, and over 450 miles of trails. The Teton Wilderness, known for its hunting and fishing, ranks as one of the best wildlife areas in the nation, home to countless birds, and various species of bears wolves and elk. The wilderness also houses a unique ecosystem of aquatic life consisting fishless ecosystems comprised of a diverse amphibian biota. This has no longer been the case for some time, however, as the lakes were stocked years ago with non-native trout in order to satisfy the recreational and commercial needs for fishing.
This is my research paper over the Smokey Mountains, which are located in Tennessee and part of North Carolina. One interesting fact about the Smokey Mountains is that it is the nation's busiest park, that draws more than nine million visitors a year, twice the number of any other national park. What most of the millions of people that visit usually see is the park from a mountain-skimming highway that, on a normal weekend day during the summer, draws over 50,000 people.
All mapping sites near Dillon, Montana have at least two structural elements, including folds and faults. Beginning with Frying Pan Gulch area, there are two structural components within the map boundary, namely the syncline and anticline folds. Due to compressional tectonic events, an anticline and a syncline folds had formed during the Cenozoic Era. This folding event took place after the deposition and lithification of Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous rock units present in Frying Pan. The eastern anticline forms a nearly symmetrical fold with a vergence direction to the northeast. To the west is a symmetric syncline, which has an axial plane striking to the southwest. There is no significant faulting activity within the map boundary of the Frying Pan area.
For my engagement assignment, I decided to join the club AZ Sabers. I didn’t join this club just because I had to fill a requirement, but because I actually wanted to. I chose to join this club because the whole idea of it sounded cool. I mean doesn’t fighting people with light sticks sound like a good idea? I first discovered this club at passport to ASU and I decided to join with a couple of my friends, which made it less nerve wracking to go into, compared to going in without knowing anybody. I have been in this club since August, and so far it has been a really enjoyable experience.
