Platelets repair any damage done inside of vessels or and helps prevent severe blood thrombus . Imagine if our heart stop pumping blood and deliver oxygen.We also stop breathing and die. The atria’s are at the top of the heart, they receive blood from various parts of the body. The two ventricles are located on the bottom of the heart and pump blood away from the heart. The right ventricles responsibility is to pump the deoxygenated blood to the lungs, while the left ventricle pumps the oxygenated blood to the rest of the body. Between the chambers there are valves in the heart, the valves control the flow of blood, making sure it flows in one direction.
