Even though Shi Huangdi made some improvements such as creating a writing system and protected China, he made China worse because he killed many people and destroyed historical records. For example, during the Qin dynasty he created one writing system. This evidence shows that he improved China by allowing for easy communication throughout the country. To add on, he built the Great Wall of China by connecting other walls in the north. This means that China will be protected from any invaders that attack from the north of China. This also made communication during trade easier. In document 4, Shi Huangdi ordered that all writing and teachings of Confucius to be burned and to execute anyone who opposed his rule. It was a painful process before China was unified. Many lives were lost as the Qin Dynasty conquer the eight states in China. These states are weak that they could not fight the Qin military group. In order to unify China Shi Huangdi eliminate the customs and diminish the use of different languages and sets language in which everyone could understand. He also burned the books to all private libraries. This books are the teaching especially the Confucianist morals. This was done to avoid the rebellions from the people against the government. There are also some scholars who are executed during this unification.
Emperor Qin brought together seven states (including his own) into one massive empire and country. He had to conquer six other states first, showing leadership since the ability to lead is needed to win almost anything (including Qin’s own battles). By uniting China, Emperor Qin had ceased constant battles between the states (Whipps, 2008), made it safer for all the citizens (as they were together in a big country), and had set a foundation for more benefits to come.
Qin Shi Huangdi (Born 259 BCE), initially named Ying Zheng, was the founder of the Qin dynasty, and the first emperor of a unified China. Shi Huangdi was a part of China. He was the first to unite all the states in China during the Warring States period and became the first self-proclaimed Emperor of China. Also to top it off, Shi Huangdi was considered a ruthless tyrant; a person who is cruel to all the people of China and is considered this in history. Shi Huangdi’s strict attitude towards the empire was essential for his Legalist beliefs. Although he is considered to be a tyrant, Shi Huangdi helped China to be in a strong, well-vised government.

There are many leaders throughout history that can be considered great leaders or terrible leaders. It is possible that these leaders had a mixture of both great and terrible leadership qualities. A ruler from this history course that can be considered the worst is Shi Huangdi. Huangdi was the First Emperor of China and he founded the Qin Dynasty. Imperial China under Huangdi’s rule can be considered very successful, but this does not necessarily mean that Huangdi was a benevolent ruler. Huangdi was ruthless in his warfare and bloodlust and he invoked fear in his subordinates, which made them obedient. Huangdi’s rule also practiced legalist methods. Although Huangdi himself did not invent legalism, he adopted legalism as the alternative

At an early age in his life, Shigeru Miyamoto was always exploring the more natural places near his home. On one of his “expeditions” he came across a cave, so like any curious youngster would do he went inside. Every day he would return to go deeper and deeper into the darkness of this wondrous cavern. Later on in life Shigeru thought of his expeditions into the cave which influenced him to make the best selling series that is loved by many “The Legend of Zelda”. He made many economic reforms for his community, such as creating one system of currency for all of China; this facilitated the different parts of China to become more involved with each other. Thus, unification. Huangdi also got rid of feudalism, which was a social and economic system that was prominent for a very long time. He also began the renounced Great Wall of China, which was very useful later to military campaigns and protection. Also, he built the first roads and bridges for not only the state, but the land as a whole. Lastly, he began the Qin dynasty, which was the first successful empire.
