Trevor was a very defiant and slick child, when he would be asked to do chores he would cunningly argue with his mother, slipping his way out of her demands. Eventually his mother got tired of this and resorted to other ways “So she started writing me letters. This way she could make her points and there would be no verbal sparring back and forth”. Many LGBTQ teens and young adults all across America are suicidal and have no one to talk to. In this situation, they can turn to the Trevor Project, a 24-hour lifeline for LGBTQ teens and young adults who are feeling suicidal. Many LGBTQ teens are bullied at school and people won’t stand up for them because they don’t want to be bullied. The emotions bottle up and eventually some of them turn to suicide. Instead of going through with it, they are encouraged to call Trevor’s suicide lifeline. I want to get involved in this organization because I think it is important that everyone, no matter how people view them, realize they are worth more than society makes them out to be.

Ultimately I hoped to achieve a greater sense of sibling life at college. I come from a household of many children and all of us have completely dispersed since entering adulthood. Although this particular case is specific and any other could potentially be different, the information I gathered lends evidence of a healthy relationship away from the home. My questions [see attached] aimed to encapsulate her perspective and came from an emotional appeal. They primarily focused on her opinion and strayed from factual answers. In her responses she clued me into her outlook and the different aspects it involves. For Greta, the experience has been overwhelmingly positive and rather pleasant. In her description of her Pitzer life I found for the stigma of joining a sibling at college invalidated. In our discussion she described the benefits of having her brother during the first months of the transition and talked about how their relationship has changed at Pitzer. The portion of the interview I transcribed reflects her positive outlook. She highlights the ups and downs of having her older brother. Specifically she addresses the conversation she had prior to Pitzer with her brother; how they interact on campus; how it has affected their relationship; and how she personally feels about the
