Wes 1's mom threatened that if he kept slacking off, she would send him to military school. Wes 2's job of wearing the headset consisted of three things, hanging out with new friends, notifying people when he saw the police coming, and getting paid at the end of the day. When Wes 2 was going through his mom's closet looking for money he found a small clear bag with what looked like a collection of moss. But Wes knew what it really was. He had just found his mom's weed stash. Wes 2 took the weed he found, then waited for his friend Woody. Leaving together, Wes and Woody met up with some older guys and smoked the weed and drank. When his mother returned home from work, she chuckled and told Wes, "Well, at least now you know …show more content…
I also think that Wes will be very angry and hurt that his mom decided to do this to him. I feel that he will hate the school so much, that he will attempt to run away, yet won’t be successful. Although it starts out that he hates it there, I conceive that something or someone is going touch his heart, and he is going to realize that this is the place for him. Because of this situation he is going to realize that there is a good reason for him to stay and that his mother has made the right decision. Wes 1 will begin to do everything that is expected of him so that he can make not only his mother, and his sisters, but also his grandparents proud of him. At the same time, he begins to feel good about himself, and comes to the realization that he desires to become someone that others respect. On the other hand, I believe just the opposite is going to happen to Wes 2. Mary, his mother, is going to realize that her son has not been honest with her and she is going to do something rash. Her son is going to continue to follow in his brother Tony’s footsteps. I trust that he will get deeper into the drug scene. I also think that Wes 2 will become a father early in his young life and I believe that even though he is given a second chance to make a change in his life he will
1. Buck - A half St. Bernard and half sheepdog that was kidnapped and sold as a sled dog.
But as he was there he met a group of racist people who threw slurs and threw rocks at Wes and his friend Dalio. Through the situation Wes “had to let this one go. I had to look at the bigger picture my assailant was unknown, unnamed, and in a car. This was not a fair fight, and the best-case scenario was nowhere near as probable as the worst-case scenario. If i was successful, who knew how the fight would’ve ended? If i failed, who knew how the fight would’ve ended? I thought about my mother and how she would feel if this escalated any further. I thought about my father and the name he chose for me.” (121). Through Wes’ experience, he was able to apply his new morales and how his mother raised him, to stay away from fighting back and getting into a whole heap of trouble. Also the other Wes’ mom Mary, might not have the same style of helping, but she tries to help Wes at all costs even when he got angry at Ray “His mother was outside the door, knocking ferociously, demanding to know what happened. Wes continued to clean his face, as if she wasn’t there.” (105). As this entire situation unfolds, Mary’s hoping Wes didn’t get into any trouble at all because it scares her that Wes might be taking Tony’s path of violence and crime.
As an American democracy we operate within a republic, in which we elect representatives on each state to vote for us. We do this by using the electoral system that Madison envisioned in the document Federalist 10. In this document, Madison warns us on the dangers of factions.
Miyuki would cough before shaking off the dirt looking over at her sister who looked stunning in her coronation outfit which reminds her that she had to go and get ready for that before mother threatened to disown her,it was true her sister would become queen tonight and she would be living in the castle with her still because she begged her parents to let her stay by her sisters side it was then she looked over at and her as she began to speak.
Ryder stared up at the Snowbelle gym, his heart racing in his chest. Liepard gave off a growl as she looked up at her, a smirk of determination on her face. Emma stood beside him as she looked up at the gym as well.
The bucketheads wouldn't stop shooting. It was getting harder to keep deflecting all their shots. I could feel Kanan growing more tired too. If Zeb and Sabine didn't get the shield generator soon we might not make it.
Kassidy parked her car in a spot not too far away and backed in, hoping it would be easy to get out of when it was time to leave. Just in case she had to make a quick exit. While she and Caleb had stated they’d be friends, she was still a little hesitant whether or not being friends would work out for them. Too much history.
Slackjawed: that's how I’d put it. The look on that classes faces, or at least the blonde girl’s in the front, will always be a symbol of achievement for me. I put back on my grey hoodie, and slipped on my black beanie, I walked back to my chair in the very back of the room. Sitting down slumped, you never would have guessed what just happened. The classroom crackled out with gentle conversations about what everyone just saw, and both the instructor and I were grinning gently to ourselves. No one expected it from me, and I couldn’t blame them. When the room was back in order, it was like nothing ever happened. The class was orderly again, and I was just the one kid, the quiet but sometimes loud kid, that people knew but didn't know, in the
In the privacy of her bedroom, Kalyssa dropped the tough girl act and eased off her trench coat, grimacing when her shoulder protested. Man, she was glad Master Jian hadn't pushed to check her injuries, instead telling her to take care of it. With the adrenaline gone, every muscle in her body seemed on fire, the cut on her neck stung, her legs felt like noodles, and some bastard was bashing away at a drum kit inside her skull.
“Why was your phone on silent, Son?” Minjae asked his son, his back pressed against the alley wall, eyeing the few people that slip into his vision before returning his attention back at his son, who was busy chewing on his bottom lip. Namjoon wasn’t shocked about the question, he honestly expected it because Namjoon could fool many people with different race, different view of life, and different status, but someone he can never trick is his own father.
Black, all he could see, among the ever encroaching darkness of night. Numb, all he could feel as scenes of death unfolded around him. “Go through first!” He shouted to his men, as they scrambled blindly toward cover. The screams of his men mingled with the sounds of the firefight created a cacophony that seemed like it would never end. The second wave of gunfire would soon ensue, leaching the land of life in one foul swoop. Despite this, he felt calm, knowing it would all end soon, and he would finally be taken to gates of heaven and accepted into god's loving embrace. He understood that he was young, but the war had seemingly aged him decades. No one would truly understand him, and he didn’t want them to understand, for that would mean
He was stripped from his happy, comfortable life and dumped in this twisted new reality in which there was no escape. He stood out, with his white cane and dark glasses. He could feel the stares as he walked along the street, the hairs on his neck standing straight. The feeling of incompetence was destructive, not just to him, but to his wife as well. Tina was always with him every waking moment, talking him through every problematic event - from accidentally stepping on the cat to a close encounter with death.
Also, being wrongly convicted is rather uncommon but usually not detected for many years after the execution if carried out. Even if this is the case, nothing can be done as death is an irreversible penalty (Motherjones).
Although if anything ever were to happen, she would be a calm voice of reason, because she wisely understood that panicking wouldn’t help anyone, especially herself.
Demons bled from the wound in the sky. The ground shuddered under them as they fell to earth. The acrid stench of piss and fear and death hung in the air, fighting with the smoke to choke all who drew breath.
