When this individual walked into the senior lounge, turning on the lights before closing the door, Brenda and Siegfried sprang into action. Methodically and patiently, the two walked to the other side of the hallway, opening the door in the process. Once inside, they found this guy opening a small cabinet to find a small note–possibly a list of items that the signers of the document wanted. As soon as he took it from within the cabinet, he closed it. Turning around, he noticed Siegfried and Brenda were standing silently from where he entered the room; the door of course was closed, preventing anyone from eavesdropping. “Do I know you two?” the individual wondered as he walked toward the two Jackbooters. He glanced at the insignia on the left breast of the golf shirts that went with their uniforms. “Archbishop John Carroll Catholic High School,” he read aloud, “Say, you two Volksryanischen by any chance?” …show more content…
By keeping this in mind, they decided to play along. “Sure, why not?” Siegfried Hummel told him. “Name’s Nathaniel, but calls me Siegfried. The girl I’m with is Brenda Klara Brotzman, otherwise known best by some as the cousin of the State Chancellor of the Ryanites, Harold Brotzman.” To which Brenda would later add, “And if you want to know another thing or two about me and my boyfriend, you could say our friends from back east wanted us to find you…something to do with the Great Leaps Westward. Of course, you can trust the two of us, as we are not in good terms with all the neighbors who like to exercise their influence around
As Angelica confidently strolled into Rosario High, Eliza and Peggy, her sisters followed close behind. Angelica had been at the school before, because she'd been taking a bus over to the high school for her advanced math class all throughout eighth grade. Eliza, however, had never been inside the building before and felt incredibly small walking in. Peggy wasn't even supposed to be there. She should've been in eighth grade, but she skipped it and went straight to high school. She was very smart, but no one ever noticed. She was always just Angelica and Eliza's sister. They made their way down wing 1B in search of their lockers. Peggy stopped at her locker, number ninety six, while Angelica and Eliza looked for their own. Angelica finished her search at locker number seventy stuff. Eliza found hers a bit farther down, locker 46. While she began to unpack her books, she saw four boys making their way down the hallway. One was the famous jock, Lafayette. No one knew his real name except teachers, because he insisted that it was to long to use. His friend, another jock who was very smart, however, Hercules Mulligan followed him down the hall. John Laurens, who was decent at sports, but more of a science guy was with them, too. Following them was the mystery man, Alexander Hamilton. He was in their grade, but barely anyone knew anything about him. Eliza figured he was just another jock.

On one faithful day I started my car and was about to leave Croatan High school. It was a cold January day it wasn’t sunny I wore a black shirt and grey shorts. As I start to pull out my spot into the straight way to get on cougar lane someone stops me. The person that stopped me was my buddy Jacob he made the jester for me roll down my window and so I did and he said. “Hey man do you know when the next test is in Mr. Slater’s class,” to which I reply. “No let me know if you hear otherwise,” and he walked away. I roll the other window down as Stair Way to Heaven comes on and turn up the music. I pull into the straight lane behind three cars and wait for someone to let one person in so the line will die down.
As I reflect on my life, I remember seeing my momma go to college for the first time when I was 7 years
My educational experience at Bishop Noland Episcopal day school has greatly influenced me to be the person I am today . This school helped me shape my goals and aspirations. I was constantly surrounded by brilliant students and a supportive faculty . The knowledge I acquired at E.D.S thorough out middle school was legitimately significant to me for high school and my future .
It was a normal school day in November at Lockport Middle School. The sun was out, full of children laughing and playing at recess. My friend and I were talking and she asked me if I would want to go shopping with her in Baton Rouge the next day. I could not wait to go home and ask my mom. I love shopping! The school day dragged only because I couldn’t wait for the next day to come. When I finally got home I asked my mom and she told me that I had to go see my mawmaw before I went. She has been telling me lately that I needed to go see her soon because she was sick. I always made excuses because mawmaw always gets sick, but she always gets out of it! She’s a strong woman, I know she will get through it. I finally convinced my mom to let me go see her when I got back from shopping.
“ Yea, I heard that there’s a nutty negro student became the president of an Americanism Club in Cleveland Central High School. I bet that poor thing didn’t even know what is Americanism.”
All I remember from that day is killing Jayden and Noah. My two best friends.
“Be who God made you to be and you will set the world on fire.” These words ring in my head as I sit here and think about my education in my last year here at Saint John Neumann Catholic School. The last three years have been some of the most fun years in my life, and if I had the option I would do it all over again. As I sit back and reflect about what Saint John Neumann has been to me the past couple of years, I think about the following subjects:
Life is an amazing thing that should be appreciated no matter what you go through. Everyone has their share of problems in life. Most of us find ways to overcome tough obstacles. One obstacle that I faced and will never, never forget happened during my first year of college at Sacred Heart University.
John pulls up to a gas station winds are strong pushing them inside the store. Once inside the clerk tells them to get away from the windows concerned about Mr and Mrs Frank John decides, it is better to stay inside than on the road. Patrick and john bring in Mr and Mrs frank inside and into a locked room. Only several candles and a fire pit had been formed by the clerk
I knew this was one of the reasons I was labeled a stuck up bitch. I couldn’t care less. However, the other reason left a bit of sting and almost had me deciding to give in to peer pressure. The most diverse topic yet, sex.
The year was 2010, I was a senior in high school and it was Thanksgiving night. I felt sick to my stomach. The anxiety I felt kept me from enjoying the thanksgiving dinner. I counted and counted the days back, it had been six weeks since I last had a period. That night I drove to deliver my boyfriend thanksgiving dinner. I also intended to pick up the pregnancy test he had for me. That night when all the lights were out and my parents asleep, I quietly tiptoed to the bathroom. I was eager to know my fate. While waiting for the results to appear, my heart sunk. I felt my heart in my stomach. The test stick was ready. My heart beat rapidly, my hands trembled as I picked up the pregnancy test. I couldn't tell if it said negative or positive.
Today was the day where everyone received their math placement test scores. The ritual in St. Jeff’s School was that the top scorer’s score would be announced over the public announcement (P.A.) speaker.
“Well, they appear to be girls a few years older than me, some of them being no older than eighteen or nineteen,” recalled Brenda, trying to remember what her cousin’s otherworldly associates look like. “They all had long knee length hair tied into a ponytail and they all wore an individual set of Ryanite regalia–possibly the ones issued to girls attending Catholic high schools in and around the city of Philadelphia. Aside from that, they look completely human as you and I.” Her attempts to remember had resulted in Brenda picking up a piece of paper on her nightstand. With the piece of paper in her hands, she gave it to Siegfried. “See if you can understand what they wrote on the
