It was a moist, rainy day in Tampa. But for Tom it was just a normal, regular day.
He was heading to the Tim Horton’s, a block away from his apartment, when he noticed a man in a black trench coat, with a black hat following him. So he started walking faster turning a corner to make sure the man wasn’t following him. And when he didn’t turn the corner Tom went on his way to Tim Horton’s again. So when Tom got to Tim Horton’s he got in line to order his food.
Now after he ordered his food he sat down and ate. And after 15 minutes or so the man in the black coat walked in. Tom almost spit his food out from astonishment. The man who he thought wasn’t following him could be. So Tom got up and threw his stuff away and walked quickly out the door. And the man in the black trench coat was close to

So Tom did the only thing he could run right towards him. And at the last second he saw the guy pull something out of his pocket, something shiny. He had thought the man had pulled a gun. And right before he could get a good look, he was pulled in an alleyway by a mysterious figure. And he could barely hear a voice say, “Hurry”. And after hearing that and not knowing where it came from was hesitant before going through the door that had flew open. But he didn’t have much of a chance to go back out on the open streets where two men are running towards this alley to get him for no apparent reason. So he entered and when he finally got to the spot where two men were sitting, he heard the two men chasing him yelling for him to come out. So the two men sitting beside Tom said to go upstairs; that they’d deal with these two men. So he ran upstairs and heard the four men arguing. And then he heard two large bangs! He knew that the two nice men were shot, and heard those two murderers coming up the stairs for him. So he tried to barricade the door, but they were about to push through. So he looked for an exit, and the only place he saw was the window. So Tom took a deep
It is 1945 and some of my generation has already arrived, with more yet to come. The month is June and I just arrived. President Truman is in office. The war in Europe just ended, and the war with Japan is about to end. The Cold War has started but it will be two years before they officially call it the Cold War. In case you were wondering that is me in the carriage, as you can see I am not really too concerned about world events as of yet. I’m pretty sure that the rest of my generation isn’t either. It is also my guess that we won’t be for a while. However, as I said history is relevant and many world events will take place in the next nineteen years that will lead some of us toward war, and others toward what I believe to committing the unforgivable crime of treason.
Democratic localism was also enforced to keep the government at bay, allowing people to make their own economic decisions. Capitalism was renewed due to growth. Americans were enjoying various freedoms in politics, religion and travel. Nixon stated in one of his speeches that the United States had “come closest to the idea of prosperity for all in a classless society (166).”

About an hour and a half passed when he saw that he was heading toward a familiar supply store. It was the first sign that he was getting closer to his uncle’s houes. He quickened his step and finally was about 5 yards away when he heard an angry shout come from the closed front door of the store.
1947 through 1991 was the time period of the Cold War; the Cold War was a result caused by the tension of the after math of what had happened with world war 2 .The tension that was there wasn 't just any kind of tension it was military tension between the power of the eastern bloc and the power of the western bloc. The Cold War wasn 't only one war but it was decades of "little"wars and intimidation. Germany was busy after the war, there where so much tension between the Soviet Union and the western allies because they had feared each other because they had thought a new war could arise. Minister Churchill then decided that he would put what would be an iron curtain across Europe. The Cold War had so many little conflicts within it like the Chinese revolution, the Palestine liberation organisation, and so many more hundreds if you would that happened in the Cold War time.
- He offered me to take the blame, but I know that did not kill Jill and that man. I could not. I loved Jill - contritely said the man and shut by the hands face. - I saw how he killed her and was unable to help ... no one believes me, and ye believe not. So why come? Convince me that I is guilty? - Tom shouted loudly and dramatically jumped out of bed, his face was purple, his eyes were bloodshot, the veins on his neck swelled and began to throb. - And all because you find it easier to shift the blame on me, than to find the
He told her the reason of why he had gotten to go. He said, “I reckon I shouldn’t ‘a gone, “slowly”, but boys will do foolish things. I had done a good year/deal of fox hunting the winter before, and father let me keep the money. Kneeling on the ledge, Tom is dreaming of going into his warm, cozy apartment. Tom then tries to open his window but he couldn’t. His fingers couldn’t fit under the outer sill to push it open. Also, the upper window panel was frozen tight with dry paint. Tom then folds the yellow paper in his pocket and tries to think of ways to get people on the street attention. With many attempts, Tom didn’t get anyone to notice him on the ledge. He decided to wait on the ledge until Clare came home, but checking his watch she was only gone for eight minutes. Then, Tom started to regret not going to the movies with his wife. He now understands that he didn’t need to stay to work on his project. He realizes that working on the yellow wasn’t worth more than spending quality time with his wife. In the story, the text it says, “He wished, then, that he had not allowed his wife to go off by herself tonight-and on similar nights.” He recognizes that he need balance. Tom then muscles up the courage to break his apartment window. With a balled fist and a loud short screaming Clare, Tom was able to break the window. He went into his apartment and placed the yellow paper on the desk weighing it down with a pencil. He went to get his coat from the closet
He grabbed the yellow paper and put it in his mouth, holding onto it with his teeth. He got to his window and it was closed, there was no way to open it from the outside. As he struggled to hold on he forgot that he had the sheet in his mouth, he removed it and crushed it into the side of his pocket. Tom had to brainstorm ideas on how he could get in, he realized the only way was to break the window. He tried breaking the window with the palm of his hand, his shoe, and a half dollar. He even tried to signal people with lighting up some paper he had in his pocket and dropping coins, but no one saw him in the dark night. He realized that he had wasted his life on his job, and all the time he has been away from Clare. Clare gave him the strength to keep holding on to the bars and to break the window. He made a fist and yelled “CLARE” as he struck the window. He broke the window and fell on his apartment floor, he got up and left his yellow sheet on his desk with a pencil on top. As he walked out his apartment to catch up with Clare at the movies the yellow sheet slipped out through the window again. Tom laughed and closed the

In the begining of the Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket, I agreed Tom’s action to go out the window to grab the paper. It was not that far, only few feet away, and it seem to be easy task that would finish quick.
