He had been selling knives for over 25 years. Selling knives ran in the family. First it started with his great grandpa, then it went to his grandpa After them it went to his dad and now it's on to him. When he was just getting into the business his father told John that he needed to pass down the generation of knives. John’s family made the best knives in the town of Yetmish; it’s what he was known for.

It snipped him in the right arm. John ran out of his house in fear. He ran to his shop about half a mile away and spent the night there.
The next morning John was terrified. He closed the shop for the day. Some people were walking by wondering why it was closed because it's always open. It's only closed when something bad happens. Over the next couple of weeks nothing happened. The shop was still closed. The shop reopened because he felt safe again. He was waiting in his shop for customers, when a man in a full black cloak walked in his store. John said, “Hello sir. How may I help you?” The man in the cloak said, “I know what happened come to your house. I can help you. I will save your life.” The man in the cloak gave John a card and John looked down to read it once. He lifted his head up to see the man had gone.
John was very curious of what this meant. He didn't know if this was the man that tried to kill him or if he was trying to help. Later that night john went home and got in his straw bed trying to sleep. John herd a huge bang down the ladder. John grabbed his knife and was ready at strike. He stood at the top the ladder waiting for anything. After about 15 minutes John could still hear some rattling. John finally got the courage to go down the ladder. He walked into the living room and saw nothing messed up. John went to go look outside and there was a huge mess. His straw roof was almost all torn up. When John climbed on top to see
I was riding my horse, in bad conditioned weather, it was raining and snowing with a little bit of ice on the ground. I was just minding my own business then I hear 3 bells the first one is a little loud, the second one was medium loud, and the third one was extremely loud. I started panicking and so I tied my horses reign to the hitch. I started panicking everyone was riding in their wagon trying to get home, but I stopped to see what was going on in then I see John with a musket and I tell everyone to go home and lock their doors because this wasn’t going to end well. I went up to him and asked him, “what are you doing man, what is wrong with you, why are you doing this?” He replied and said, “I don’t know.” Then I said, “what do you mean?” he replied and said, “I don’t know what is wrong with me I think I need to go see a doctor because I don’t feel right at all I don’t even own this
The next morning, groggily, John and his new friend woke up to the triumphant yells of generals. The grass was damp from the night before for it had rained a thunderous rain. John’s general, General Hartford, was a stern looking man and didn’t like goofing off at all. Every time a soldier peeped a word while marching he would hit them with the end of his sword and tell them to stop talking. John marched alongside his new friend and didn’t say a word. After hours of marching they took a break and ate a small lunch of an apple and very watered-down soup. Once John started his bowl of soup a large boy walked over. He was about the age of twenty-three and had a messed up smile and didn’t talk clearly. He yelled, “Gimme your soup or I’ll beat you
There was a loud bang on the door. I sat up right away along with the other 13 people in my room. A soldier dress in head to toe with his uniform along with a winter jacket. He threw five pieces of bread on the floor and told us to go to work before leaving. The bread only got split upon nine of us; I was one of those nine. I had noticed a young boy did not get a piece so I gave him mine. The boy looked at me with a blank stare and took the bread from my frangile bonny fingers. I stood up, buttoned my shirt and adjusted my shorts. Under that slats of wood I slept on, I hid a scarve that I stole from a dead woman. I pulled it out and tucked it in my shirt so no one would notice. As I stepped out the door frame I felt a chilling breeze up my

It was a cold stormy night. The house was still. I was lying in bed when I heard a series of knocks at the door. As I descended the stairs the knocks were getting louder and louder. I thought to myself, "Who could be at the door this late at night?" When I opened the door there was a tall man dressed all in black. He smelled of fish and looked like he just walked out of a mud pit. He was having car troubles and needed to use the phone. I invited him in and told him that the phone was down the hall in the living room. Instead of calling the tow truck he called his friend, George, to come pick him up. I invited him to have a cup of coffee and some cookies while he waited for his friend to pick him up. We talked for about an hour when there
He was being set up. Like an iceberg fracturing from a glacier, his perfect and smooth running day fell with a spectacular splash. This man was packing heat. A standard police issue handgun. Undoubtedly, the authorities were raiding the place as Jay spoke. They would soon find the concealed moonshine. Weighing up his options, Jay vaulted over the countertop only to meet the beat cop’s left hook connecting with his face. Acute pain registered and intensely dissipated. Darkness filtered through his heavy eyelids before settling in his subconscious.
Turning to his head to the left when he saw a disturbance out of the corner of the eye he could see a man trying to steal a vendors money pouch. Wrestling the pouch away from the merchant the man started running down the street. “Stop Thief!” the vendor call. “Someone one stop that man, he stole my money,” he yelled to the other vendors and customers as he started chasing the thief.

He would up the lantern just enough that it let him the the false eye on the old man. Every time he did this the eye was shut. One night during a storm the servant crept in but made a noise and the old man woke up, the room was dark and his vision was poor so he could not see the door open or the servant in his room. For an hour they stayed in the same place completely unaware of each-others presence. The servant opened the lantern a sliver and shot the light on the old mans eye, it was open and it sent chills through his body. After waiting and letting the eye seep into his mind he went in for the kill. The servant made his bed and put the body under the floor board's. A little later the police showed up and said they got a call about a scream. The servant made an excuse and they searched the house. The servant offered the

It was a cool summer night, and Richard was lost in the haven of his thoughts. He was toying with the idea of how cool it would be to know martial arts. As he was walking down the dimly lit street he paused to imitate his role model, the great Bruce Lee. While he was pummeling imaginary assailants, he threw a mighty kick, and knocked over a trash can. But he misjudged how much force he put into knocking back ninjas and he went tumbling into the garbage. This caused Richard to mumble some curses under his breath, and as he was wiping the muck from his face, he noticed something glimmering in the mud. Richard grabbed the object, and wiped off the grime that had built up on it. It was a tiny necklace locket, and it was a marvelous piece of craftsmanship.
In his first day of his job, John was bored out of his mind, he had to follow a plan for building a small apartment, but he hated the way it was organized, and he could tell that so did many others. Many days passed and John started to get annoyed by the way everything that they had to build was so simple. One day he went to ask one of the construction designers if that was what they were supposed to be doing, and he responded naturally, saying that the rules were that no one could make a building any better than what they already had. He got angry and stayed that way for the rest of the day.

Quickly, the men got up. John got a fist and threw a punch at the man. The man’s head spun. He then quickly backfired by giving a punch at John. John quickly ducked and lunged towards the man’s legs. They both fell to the ground and John held his revolver and pointed it at the man. There, the men lay, contemplating what they should do. Finally, the man said, “Go on, take the shot. Life for me has been a series of quick memories and others faded away.”. John wasn’t about ready let him go without asking questions. “Who are you and what do you want?”. The man looked slightly puzzled. He thought for a second and then said, “To be quite frank with you, I’m not sure myself. The earliest memory I have is exiting that contraption into a world that
