How far does a woman extend her loyalty to her best friend? Iris was just a little to brave when she went from night life party girl to full blown madam. Kate, her best friend spent years by her side as the bold one willing to push the boundaries, but even Kate wasn't in the mind to jump into pure crime. That is until Iris wasn't doing it right, and Kate was afraid she'd get herself
In the literature art of “A Tale Of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens, a loyalty to warfare, causes suffering to family and social class. A theme that is dominant in the feel and the writing style of the novel. Charles Dickens is excellent at providing a deep and personal meaning to fictional based characters; make you feel for them, sometimes more than these in real life.
Loyalty plays a big part in Romeo and Juliet. Ties of loyalty are woven throughout the play, binding certain characters together. The main theme is the feuding families of Romeo and Juliet that holds an “ancient grudge” against each other: the Montague’s and the Capulet’s. Romeo’s family and friends despise Juliet’s family, the Capulet’s, and as the play progresses you will find them defending each other in the face of an enemy. Romeo and Juliet have to defy their parent’s expressive wish not to see each other, and accept the consequences of their forbidden love. They question the fact that there’s no solid fact that the two family’s hate each other: merely time has blown the feuding out of proportion.
The Revolution released the potential for America to become very democratic; allowing space for political and social struggles to spread ideas of freedom and challenge the old way of doing things. Ideas of liberty invigorated attacks on both British and domestic American foundations and so did the beliefs of equality in the Declaration of Independence, which caused many in society who were seen as the substandard bunch such as women, slaves and free blacks to question the sanction of their superiors.
In “The Limits of Friendship” by Maria Konnikova, social media has significantly changed the way we interact with friends and family. Everybody thinks that using social media is the best way to talk to friends and family, however, in my opinion, they are wrong because it doesn’t give you the face-to-face connections we need as humans for social interaction. On the other hand, the great thing about using social media is you can connect with more people, but in a superficial kind of way. Therefore, we do not get the face-to-face interactions with our friends and family. We, the people that are addicted to social media, learn that without face-to-face conversations we wouldn’t have a normal “social” life outside of social media. The question

Tomi’s friends and family are the very definition of loyalty. They all did not have to help him if they were not up to it, but they were loyal to him and wanted to be of service. Three examples of this are Rico, Grandpa Joji, and Jake’s acts of kindness and devotion.
Of Mice and Men is the perfect tale to depict sadness, loyalty, and what many people in today's classify as madness. The story was written by acclaimed American author John Steinbeck. After a long day at work and quite a bit of consideration, Stacy decided to go to her hometown’s annual carnival. To spend a night out and meet some new people would be the perfect escape for her. Anticipating on riding the ferris wheel later that night, Stacy was standing in the ticket line, waiting to purchase tickets. She could not help but glance at him again.
Three things she couldn’t stand were a thief, a liar, and disrespect. Normally, she would make an example out of someone who betrayed the family, but she wasn’t in the mood to make a scene, so she called the woman into her father’s office.
When reading The Call of the Wild and White Fang, one can see many intertwining similarities, as they are both written by Jack London. So similarly are the instincts and attributes of canines in regard to human interaction and the wild including the prose of writing in each book, that in journeying through these intricate novels, one can also remain unconscious of the difference in technique. Such technique is the evolution of Buck and his reverting back to the wild in The Call of the Wild, whereas in White Fang, London alternately uses the domestication and taming of White Fang. Though their methods are different, both books possess the common prevalent theme of loyalty in each’s frozen settings. This loyalty between men, between dogs, and
The reasons I choose these pictures to show that my value “Loyalty” represented me. Because it shows that I’m there for my all my family, friends, pets and everyone else. Whether they ask me to do something, to hangout, to keep a secret or whatever it is I’m able to do it for them and they know that I’ll be able to do it for them. If I’m told to do something by my parents then they can trust me to do and they know I’ll do it right. If my friends want me to keep a secret then they can trust me to keep it and not tell anyone. I’ll also stay with my friends and not leave them for others no matter what. Even with sports I’ll stay loyal to the team I play for and the team that I cheer for no matter what happens I’ll support them. These are some
