It's just an ordinary Tuesday at the New York Police Department. No big crimes were committed this week, everyone and everything seemed to be typical. "Hey Cait, how's it going with the detective stuff?" asked Beth. "Beth, you know I hate to talk about this when no crime is happening in the streets. It makes me feel so anxious about what is going to happen," uttered Caitlynne. "Ugh, you always say that. Why did you join the police force anyways?" spoke Beth. "Well, I wanted to help people since I was very young," said Caitlynne in a dreamy way. "Oh well, see you later Cait!" Beth said cheerily. "Bye," said Caitlynne. At 12:20, something happened. Lorraine West called the police that her friend, Nicole Fields, is kidnapped. "Detective …show more content…
A gold plated lipstick holder with the letters "CT" engraved on it was left at the scene. Only one suspect came into mind. Charlotte Tress. Caitlynne remembered her because Charlotte stabbed two girls and almost choked another girl to death. Popular girls used to bully her before and she hated them ever since. Plus, the lipstick holder also has Charlotte's initials on it. "Beth, can you scan if there are any of Charlotte's fingerprints on the lipstick holder?" asked Caitlynne. "Sure thing Cait," Beth said. She looked at the results showing only Peyton's fingerprints on it. "Well, that could make sense," said Caitlynne to herself. "She could have been wearing gloves,". Later, the next day, the same thing happened. Another girl named Melanie Adkins gets kidnapped around 7:45 near the corner of an alleyway. Tobais Greene comes in as a witness and told Caitlynne that he was her ex-girlfriend. She studied his file and saw that he had many reports from his ex-girlfriends, they all dumped him because of his excessive love. She got a deep in the gut feeling not to trust him. She lists him as one of the suspects. When Caitlynne went to the crime scene, Beth told her that Melanie's pink purse was found. Something unusual happened Saturday morning. The anonymous kidnapper released Peyton by sending an anonymous text to everyone at the police station where she is. "if we

Next, the sleuths called Katie in and started asking her many questions. They started with “Where were you the night of the murder?” Katie looked to the left and then to the right and answered “I was at my friend, Alyssa Lynn Bunches’ house.” The investigators had no reason not to believe her except for the fact that they found out that she lives on the other side of the country. “It had been a strange day,” she thought. “Goodbye world,” she thought. She was right it was a strange day. But let 's start from the beginning. Early this morning… Beep Beep Beep. There goes her alarm. Cassidy Rose reaches up her arms and yawns. Another day another crime to solve. She had been head over heels obsessed with this case. The murder of the richest man in the state. Mr Harold Washington. He was found in his mansion dead on the ballroom floor. They think he died of drug overdose but, Cassidy suspected foul play. In his house the police found no evidence of pills anywhere. Cassidy is on the case. She slowly got up out of bed to take a shower and make her coffee. Then she got a call.
The lopsided battle raged for over two hours, the Army and Marines, also cleared the housing area. They captured seventy-five of the enemy combatants to include one make believe General, who told them they had no right to hold him as the United States of America no longer existed as far as he was concerned. Finally, out of exasperation at hearing the man rant and rant, Captain Gaston, who was now in Tomakow headquarters, had him tied and gaged then set into a corner so they didn’t have to listen to him anymore.
Waking up on the typical Monday morning, I feel groggy and confused. What day is today? I think it over and realize it is the dreaded Monday. Wishing it was still Sunday, I slowly get up and, like a snail, complete my morning routine. On my way to Hunter, everything is the usual–waiting for the suddenly delayed train, rushing through the massive horde of people trying to transfer trains, and finally arriving at school along with hundreds of others. I notice that the train station has set up a table lined with police officers checking passengers’ “suspicious” bags. The person in front of me gets called over by the police and she complies, by allowing the police officer to look through her bag. I keep walking as this is nothing out of the
