On a bright sunny day in the middle of summer, I woke up wrapped in my warm fluffy blanket with a dog. With my mom saying, “Austin wake up your cousin will be coming visiting us.” I was surprised, I hadn't seen her in weeks. Her name is Ceara she’s really nice. I was kind of shocked she only comes over at the most 3 times a year. When I finally got up, it was sometime in the middle of the day the reason I know this is because my mom was in the middle of cooking our lunch, she was making freezer burnt chicken nuggets and minute maid mashed potatoes. I sat down in one of our old creaky wooden chairs and my mom said to me “Eat up you don't want to have an empty stomach when Ceara shows up.” As usual, she was right, so I ate my food without arguing and let me tell you it was disgusting. I hate when my mom makes really nasty food because she doesn't have the time to make a somewhat decent lunch. But I know she tries so I try not to say anything about it. When I was done eating I stood up, and out of nowhere I heard a loud bang, bang, bang come from the back door and my mom said to me, “ Why don't you go see who it is. ” So I decided to investigate. I slowly crept up to the back door, making sure that whoever it was they wouldn't be able to see me. I peeked through the window and it all made sense, I turned the shiny metal doorknob and pulled it open with all the strength in my body and ran into her arms. It was Ceara, she was screaming her head off. We played in the backyard
As Bahauddin pushed the door to the shaft as slow as molasses falls out or the bottle to make it so no one would be able to hear the creak of the rusted and moldy hinges that are barely holding the door up. He could see the invaders about 100 yards away from him consumed in their fighting as if there's nothing else worth paying attention to. He slowly began to climb out of the shaft he realized that the lanterns were giving off light in the smoke of the cannons. He could hear the invaders yelling things such as

She let herself be swallowed by the fog. She didn't remember dinner or what she said, just that food tasted like ash and a corpse’s hand was warmer than hers. Her face hurt from smiling and her laugh sounded hollow. She was too apathetic to care, her mind far away dreaming of Erik.
It was only as Barry was slowing down to walking speed before entering the house that he realized he didn’t think about what he was going to say. That he was sorry? That everything was his fault? He needed to say it, but it wasn’t exactly going to make things any better. Looking down at the red costume he was wearing, he felt disgusted with himself and he just couldn't help but feel the urge to just rip the fabric on his skin. After all, he long lost the right to look like a hero; heroes don’t steal and kill people and they especially do not hurt their friends. Barry wasn’t the Flash anymore, he was an impostor.

Evan felt sick to his stomach the entire evening. Something was wrong, very definitely wrong, and he couldn’t explain how. His insides twisted and the plate in front of him seemed to morph before his eyes from mildly appetizing to a lumpy mush.

I saw the blur of a house against the crystal clear, blue sky and the dark evergreen trees, which was followed by an unusual numbness and a bright red puddle that stood out against the dark pavement. I heard shouting and pounding footsteps but I had no idea what happened. I sat on the hot pavement for what seemed like hours, watching blood flow down the hill and into the rain gutter before I was met by a familiar face. Where did her cigarette go? Why was she out of breath? I could see her lips moving but I could not hear the words. I could feel more pounding on the pavement as it got closer and closer, accompanied by extraordinarily loud shouting that snapped me out of this trance. I looked at my knees and stared in awe, seeing the layers of skin that had just been torn. Did I win the race? I looked up at her face as the color drained from her cheeks.
“Of course!” I yelled as I leapt over the glass and onto my bed. I had ran into my bookshelf that held my 30 pound mirror, which was now in pieces all over the floor, my bed and everything else. It wasn’t the first time I had broken a mirror so I wasn’t very surprised. It was just my luck.

I’ll never forget the day my voice was unheard. I was a very timid kid with a fear of public speaking and afraid to give my opinion. I have always kept to myself. People have never listened to me, and it was probably because my voice was very low or they didn’t really care what I had to say. I always thought kids were going to laugh at me for speaking nonsense. However, that all changed with a robbery.
