This trait is integrally connected to other servant leader traits like persuasion, foresight, stewardship, and even self-awareness (Spahr, 2015; Spears, 2010), and without proper development of conceptualization, my other servant leader traits will also suffer from underdevelopment.
I know that the sky is the limit when it comes to nursing fields but I have a sincere interest in mental health. I thoroughly enjoyed my clinical day at the Pavilion although I did recognize that the Nurses spend a lot of time charting which depleted my interest a bit. However, I do know that you can work in other settings I can work in especially if I continue my education to a master’s or doctoral level. Becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (PMH-APRN) would allow me to prescribe certain medications (depending on the state’s law I live in) and administering psychotherapy. (American Psychiatric Nurses Association, 2015) However, these are potential long-term goals! Let’s talk about short-term.
One of the proudest moments of my life is graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in social work. I’m the first in my family to do so, and I am going to go further in my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in social work. The main reason why I am pursuing a Master’s degree is because it will give me more options than a Bachelor’s degree would ever give me. Additionally, it will give me the opportunity for job stability since most employment prospects is requiring a Master’s degree to get hired. My long term goal is to work in the VA hospital. Working at the VA hospital has many benefits and job stability. Getting employed at the VA hospital has been a goal of mine since I first started my social work courses. And a Master’s degree is the

However, I recommend placing time constraints (deadlines) on the process of decision making, in order to avoid prolonged or delayed action on deliverables. These time constraints with develop individuals cognizance to time-sensitivity, focus on increase productivity through problem-solving and developing the blueprint for future goals and plans for the organization.
By the end of my senior year, my main priority, like any other senior, is to wear my cap and gown, walk across the stage, and receive my high school diploma. To accomplish this goal, I must continue excelling in school with all A’s and maintaining my diligent study skills. I also need to take as many dual enrollment courses at Clayton State University as possible in order to shorten my time in college. After graduating, the next leading goal is to get accepted into either Emory University or University of Georgia, but preferably Emory. Should Emory accept me, then I definitely need to apply to and receive scholarships like Gates Millennium and Zell Miller, for example. In addition, I desire to preserve my current rank as the salutatorian. Perhaps if I persevere more, then I could possibly graduate as the valedictorian. To do this, I can always study harder and receive tutoring about topics I do not completely comprehend. Also, somewhere along the lines, I hope that can obtain a job as a

I think that as an aspiring physician practicing osteopathic medicine, I would be in the position to positively impact socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.

From the time I first started talking, my mom instilled in me an appreciation for all facets of learning. Looking back, I now understand how important one’s values, principles, and experiences help shape individuals. It is the culmination of both my mom’s passion for teaching and my desire to make an impact in the lives of future students that I have chosen to pursue a degree in education. In my four years of post-secondary education at Lebanon Valley College, I hope to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
One’s Journey To Their Extrinsic Goals Can Make Them Intrinsically Fulfilled Happiness is a necessity in each individual's life. The path that one takes to achieve happiness differs from person to person. When one pursues extrinsic desires, they set themselves on a path to intrinsic fulfillment as each step leads them closer to their goal. In Seven Pounds, The Simpsons, and Narcos, the audience is introduced to characters, who set them self-extrinsic goals that are either materialistically driven or motivated by achievements; along the journey of achieving these goals one is intrinsically fulfilled through the experiences, they have with the people around them.
Making sure students have self-esteem is critical when it comes to physical education. Many students tend not to like physical education, so as teachers it is our job to implement strategies that will help students build self-esteem, develop problem solving skills, tech cooperation and challenges in physical education. One strategy to accomplish these goals is to make small reachable goals. Students tend to “give up” when they cannot perform a skill, so implementing small reachable goals, students will feel successful which will ultimately give them the determination to do better in physical education. During one of my observations, I was able to see a prime example of a teacher implementing a small reachable goal to had every student participating. The objective of this lesson is for the big balloon to not hit the ground. Students would hit the balloon in the air and they would have to run under it before the balloon hit the ground. Students were having so much fun running around and motivating their group to do their best. It was a small reachable goal that all students could complete and if they
I am attending Concord College to further my education. After graduating with an Elementary Education Degree, I would like to teach in an elementary school in Southern West Virginia. Preferably, I would like to teach in a kindergarten environment. While teaching I plan to further my career with a Master’s degree. I would like to be able to reach those children that aren’t as fortunate as others. As a teacher I will not only teach the children, but they in turn, will teach me. Education is one of the most important aspects to the success of the country. It is important for everyone to feel a part of that success; therefore, I feel strongly about teaching students to succeed.
