“Can you hurry up? You’ve been in the bathroom for forty-five minutes!” Sophia yells through the bathroom door. “Don’t you think I’m trying? How do you my face looks the way it does everyday!?” I scoff back. “Our plane leaves it two hours Taylor, and I’m leaving with or without you in twelve minutes.” she says. I don’t think I appreciate her attitude. “Okay, okay, I’m coming, geez,” I say as a stumble out off the bathroom. Sophia and I are suppose to go to Washington for the week because she has this big job interview. But to be honest, I’m just going for the food. We grab our bags and hurry into the taxi. Sophia is very high maintenance, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she had our every move planned out. Especially since she’s stressed about the interview, she’s going to be even more demanding this trip. Great. Beside me, Sophia pulls out her phone and hands it to me. In her notes, she has every single thing planned out for us. From food to tourist attractions, to her interview, even when it would be appropriate to use the restroom. “Okay, so I was thinking that approximately twenty to thirty minutes after we land we should go to the nearest Taco Bell, because they are running a discount on their tacos, and then we should check into the hotel. That leaves us about ten to fifteen minutes to relax, or perhaps take a power nap if you’re feeling crazy, and then we should head out and see where my interview is taking place. I also heard that there is this great art museum
“Look, all we’ve been eating on this trip is chicken and pasta, exactly what we have at home almost every night. Don’t you want to try something new and authentic?”
Sophia: omg! He just texted, Brock – o – lee just texted, he’s my life’s work! He’s like …. the Ketut to my Rhonda, just look at how god – dam – sexy, he is! (does some weird slurpy thing with her mouth)
"I like pasta, and I got to travel to another country. This was one of the best things I could have done." Shayla remarked with a relaxed smile when interviewed.
“ Ok, Girls, now that we’re here, we need to stay together. There’s a lot of people and you can easily get lost in this big place. We’re first going to go pay for our flight and then use the restroom before boarding. Our flight leaves in half an hour. That should give us enough time.”
A shadow passed over his smug expression. He slid his hips from the desk and his flinty eyes hardened to thin slits. “You’re lying.”
“Okay, we’ll just let us know then. We just wanted to help. We’re sorry if we seem pesky, but we're excited to see who your date is, and hope everything turns out great—um, bye,” Holly said, and three girls rushed off.
“Hold on baby I’m grabbing stuff for the trip, it’s going to take a while”
“What’s the hurry?” Hayden said. “I was thinking we could grab a snack before we leave. You must be hungry.”
Tyler digs through the bag until he finds a bag of barbecue flavored pork rinds. Blair scrunches her nose at his choice of snack food, but he just gives her a smug look and pulls the bag open “We’re just a few minutes outside of Tuscon right now. I’m hoping to reach Flagstaff before nightfall. If traffic cooperates, should only take about four hours.” She nods her head, placing another candy circle in her mouth. “And after that?” she asks. “Gotta get this load to Santa Fe tomorrow. After that, wherever they send me, I suppose. You plan on sticking around for a bit, or is this
As we make our way to the front of the hotel my mother goes to the tour guide,
“Yes, I want you to meet me tomorrow at Westrolls Restaurant at this same time.”
She’s been waiting for an hour or two and she’s already becoming impatient, this is a time sensitive issue after all. They have to leave eventually, if not tonight, at some point in the morning. If not, this entire ordeal will be a lot more complicated. That’s something she’d like to avoid, it’s important to keep this as clean cut and simple as possible.
“Okay, I will be there momentarily. You go on and set up. I will buy some food and then come to paint myself. And for the last time, what is in the package?”
Once upon a time in a land not from here, there lived a girl. She was very poor and had no family left; for they had all died of disease. She lived in the forest far far away from everybody else. Since the town was so far away from her cottage she never went there unless she really needed something.
Annette arrived at midday, we were happy to see each other again. We decided to go the movies. We say the premier of “Batman Returns”, the line at the movie theater was extremely long, but we were so excited that the next day we will be flying to Mexico that the
