Introduction A comedian once said, “Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get, but if you work really hard and you are kind, amazing things will happen”. This is what I try to tell myself every day. At my 38 years of age, I had lots of roles. I have been a daughter, a sister, a friend, a student, a wife, and a mother. I am still all those things, but now I add that I am a college student again. I know that many of us decided to attend Kaplan University because we have many roles. Some of us have jobs and kids; this is why attending an online university may satisfy our needs for flexibility to obtain a college degree. The reason why I am in college again, is because I want to become a Medical and Health Service Manager. In this paper I want to go over, what is a medical and health service manager? What are the education requirements to have this profession? What are the personality traits to be successful in this career? What are my personal career goals?
