What would you do if you killed your wife’s cousin in front of both of your families? What about if you could be responsible for your best friend's death? Would you run and hide, or face the massive consequences? As he is responsible for Tybalt’s death, this question probably plagued Romeo during his banishment. So, here is the unofficial 9th grade rationale: Romeo is responsible for Tybalt’s death because he was the one that actually ended his life, he didn’t explain his situation with Juliet properly, and Romeo was the one that initiated the fight with Tybalt, while being responsible for Mercutio’s death.

What I believe should be the punishment for the people accused is that both Capulet and his wife should have to pay COMPLETELY for both funerals, Friar Lawrence should give an apology to both families, and to the Prince.Nurse should be fired from the family, and apothecary should not be allowed to sell anything and should have the license

Romeo should be at fault for all the deaths that have happened. Including his own, since he and Juliet started seeing each other. In act three, scene one, Mercutio and Romeo come across Tybalt, who starts provoking a fight. Romeo does not want to fight, so Mercutio steps up to him. Tybalt hurts Mercutio badly enough that Mercutio dies from the stab wound.

A tragedy in literature is a tragic hero who falls due to a tragic flaw. Romeo’s immature personality has a huge effect on the end of the play. Romeo never thought before he acted, causing things to go wrong. For instance, before he killed Tybalt, he was angry in the moment not thinking about what would happen. When Romeo met Juliet he was in love with another girl. From here, his judgements eventually lead to his death. His tragic flaw is his unripe personality. Romeo enters this risky relationship as a young and carefree man, who doesn’t realize what could happen during this.
