Illegal immigration has been over the years a huge problem for United States. The illegal immigrants have come into the country for different ways like the Mexico border, the Pacific Ocean, and some of the have entered through a visit visa. But after a period, they stayed illegally. The immigration phenomena is a doubled edged sword. On the one hand, it provides a boost to the local economy because they are not paid so much while they are more productive. The other factor is these people do not pay taxes, and their employers also do not pay their taxes.
Most of the Americans are of the opinion about that illegal immigration is bad for the country, and it should be stopped completely. The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) is a law in the USA that pertains different policies and regulations regarding employment. But everything is not bad, many people has an opinion that immigrants are usually skilled labor, and they help increase the local production in the state where they are. Others said that when the businesses pay them lower than the normal, their cost go down, which means that everything goes down like production cost and prices helping the American society. As well, immigrants tend to send their US dollars outside of the country to support their families, and this strengthens the value of the dollar, making it more valuable. Thereby, their efforts help to make USA economy stronger.
People think that eradicating illegal immigration is impossible, but it is not true. Illegal immigration can be repealed if the government takes the proper position, and starts making the right decisions about this problem that is no good for nobody. Some of this measures require money, political actions, and many can be accomplished by the President. But, the first step is to clarified the current laws and catch all the people that are no follow the rule no matter if is an immigrant worker or an American
