On August 6, 1945, the United states have dropped the atomic bomb on Japan city of Hiroshima and three days after The United States have dropped the second bomb on Japan city of Nagasaki to end World War II. The United States should not have dropped the atomic bombs on Japan to end World War II because it was inhumane, unnecessary, and brutal.

The United States should not have dropped the atomic bomb because it was inhumane. By using that powerful bomb on japan lots of people died and lots of people lost their children, families, and it also ruined everything on their land so they can’t have access to anything. According to document ‘E,’ the evidence shows that it was hard for Japanese because they lost lots of people, 64,000 people total died from Nagasaki and 135,000 total died from Hiroshima which was terrifying. This evidence helps explain that the U.S. should not have dropped the atomic bomb because it took lives of civilians and innocent people.

The United States should not have dropped the atomic bomb because it was unnecessary. United State still had many other resources to use on Japan to end the war. They should not have used this powerful atomic bomb because Japan was already defeated. The atomic bomb killed many innocent people that didn’t have anything to do with war such as school kids and little children. “ One of my classmates, he muttered something and pointed outside the window" All I can remember was a pale lightning flash for two or three seconds then, I collapsed, it was awful”(document D).
