Should We Have Ads In School

In my essay I will write a 2-4 page page about weather or not we should have advertisement in school. Did you know that in 2008-2009 students spent up to 64,000$ because of ads in school making them want to buy things. Claim-Our school would not benefit from having ads in school because kids get bombarded with ads everyday, and some schools don’t even have the resources to produce ads, that doesn’t even include debts, and it wastes education time, because ads are made to get someone's attention,but I do understand that they make more money for the school, but businessmen don't care about our education, they are only self interested.

These people don’t really care about education itself. The other side of the argument ( which I don’t agree with) say that it helps make more money for the school, but why waste that time and effort when you could just have a fundraiser as an alternative. They just want people to buy their product(s). They just want to make sure that they are self sufficient and not anyone else. Besides, why would I want to deal with dusty crusty businessmen all diddly darn day? Usually if you have a big school you probably get lots of offers from businessmen who don’t even care about the wellbeing of students. Distractions Ads are specifically made to grab people’s attention. Which is a problem for a school environment. Some kids could get distracted from important class time. I know that some kids are easily distracted, thus the problem of attention grabbing ads.
There is already a lot of distraction in the classroom by itself. We have other students, we have computers/ipads etc. I know that if I saw an ad in the classroom and/or the hall I would definitely be thinking about that product. I wouldn’t really be focused on the class and it wouldn’t be the best decision to have ads because there are kids that are worse than
