Students have the right to wear what they want. They should know how to dress themselves and they should be free to do so. Everybody has their own style and they don’t want to look like everyone else.

School uniforms are something that is very popular in other countries, but, when it comes to America, it just isn’t that simple. School uniforms have been a very controversial topic in public schools, many schools fight against them but some also are accepting them. A common argument against school uniforms is that it takes away the student's ability to express themselves and that it would be hard to enforce and cost a lot of money. While there are some potential problems with school uniforms they are still surprisingly beneficial. Public schools should require students to wear school uniforms to increase safety and decrease violence.

Throughout my time in school I was consistently filled with anxiety over looking my best, and I am sure many other people (girls especially) felt this from middle school through high school. The solution is uniforms! In schools where uniforms are not mandatory, the stress of “keeping up with the Jones” can create a lot of differences and struggles for students. Having mandatory uniforms in schools would create a safer and more welcoming environment for students, limit their stress, and lets them focus more on schoolwork than what they are wearing.

Student uniforms are all the same, which helps the students and teacher conserve precious class time by not having to re-enforce the standard dress code. Having the same clothes as everyone else can be upsetting but, TeenVogue stated “there are tons of ways to amp up your standard issue getup” (Teen Vogue).

Do you think kids should have to wear school uniforms? I don’t think so I mean what the fun in that? Kids wearing the same clothes over again and not being able to express our personality with our clothes. Kids should have the rights wearing what they want. Kids want to feel comfortable. Kids want to be happy and not have to wash their uniforms every night just for school.

That's what you would be saying yes to, if you say that all students in school should wear uniforms. School uniforms should NOT be a part of school because of its many cons. For example the looks, your safety, and overall it’s just plan out easier to not wear them and to save money. Many people can agree and i’m here to tell you why!

If it 's not based upon the style of clothes worn there are many other superficial ways to judge people and form cliques. Proponents of school uniforms claim that the policy makes schools safer and creates a more positive environment, but opponents say that it places unnecessary limits on students and can be costly (Anderson).

This world is created by people, and people are creating rules. Rule is a statement that tells you what is allowed or what will happen within a particular system. States have laws for residents such as they can’t murder, can’t steal or take others’ treasures, and can’t violate someone’s houses without permission. Also, wearing uniforms, going to school on time, focusing in classes, and not cheating on exams are rules students have to follow in schools. With companies, employees can’t eat or sleep during working time, can’t be off from work without permissions, have to concentrate and complete their works, and they can’t smoke in working areas. Same with an apartment in The Tenant, the tenant Trelkovsky has to follow landlord and other tenants’ rules in order to stay in that apartment. However, those laws seem to be impossible to follow and lead Trelkovsky to tragic situation. He can’t obey these laws, but he also can’t escape from those former tenants’ rules: “Don’t let anyone rent a space in your head unless they’re a good tenant.”
