Some similarities between Judaism and Christianity are: they believe in angels, the old testament is one of their scriptures (Hebrew Bible), they have scriptures, they both have ten commandments (they follow them for different reasons), one god (monotheism), and they believe that god is the creator of earth. First of all, Jews and Christians believe in angels. They believe that god created them and he sends them down to perform his will (messenger of God). I think it’s amazing at what God can do with angels, he sends them to perform his will without you actually knowing. Both Judaism and Christianity religions have the old testament as one of their scriptures. The old testament is one of their scriptures because they help them know what they should do or follow, it is their set of beliefs in writing. Jews and Christians have ten commandments. In class I learned that Jews actually have 613 commandments. Christians have ten commandments and they follow them because they have to obey what God tells them. God said, “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” This is a great example that shows why Christians should follow the ten commandments. Next, Jews and Christians believe that there is only one god. They believe that god hears and answers them, calls and elects people, moves through history and guides
