Having people to look up to is an important thing to have in life. Some may choose to follow rockstars while others decide to follow people in politics. Two role models that I know are Mr. O’malley, and Jack Henzes. My role model that I do not know personally is Bill Nye. One of my role models that I personally know is Mr. O’Malley. Mr. O’Malley is a role model to me, because he teaches the importance of submitting papers on time, and spreading out studying over multiple days. It is thanks to him that I have successfully submitted all of my autobiographies for English class on time. The second role model of mine that I personally know is Jack Henzes. Jack Henzes, also known as coach Henzes, is a role model of mine for multiple reasons. First,
A role model is somebody who people look up to due to their extraordinary work, experiences or personality. Every individual have at least one person they look up to and have the motivation to follow on their footsteps. Andrew Carnegie, a classic individual who can define the phrase “Rags to Riches”. In some perspective, he can be seen as heroic and kind, however, there are those who see him as a selfish individual. Andrew Carnegie was both a hero and a villain, considering he was a philanthropist, he knows what it was like to be poor and the way he treats his employees.
I would have to say my role model would be Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood cares about the world and the people in it.
There are millions of role models in the world and not everyone has the same one. Some examples include Marilyn Bell Di Lascio who wrote The True Story of Lake Ontario, a true story about her journey swimming Lake Ontario, and Sharon Wood, author of Sharon Wood: No Limits, who successfully climbed Mount Everest in 1986. Reading these experiences made me wonder who was a better role model. Both women were excellent examples because of their courage, perseverance, and inspiration.
My role model would have to be, Ashley Graham. Ashley Graham has taught me how to love yourself no matter what you look like. I admire her for being courageous and not giving up when someone told her to. Loving myself is a long lasting impact she has had on me and others.
An effective leader and role model in my life was my high school guidance counselor Angela Kieffer. During high school I was the definition of teen angst, and felt as though I didn’t have people who understood my thoughts and feelings like she did. Having an person to talk to that isn’t one of your parents or peers; was essential to my success in high school. Mrs. Kieffer has continued to influence my life to this day, as I am now studying to be a high school guidance counselor so I can be a leader for the youth of today.
Secondly, my role model is also Rock Lee. I chose Rock Lee again because for myself he fits into to two of the three categories. I have learned to keep going even if I fall down, failure happens when I give up and never back down. “A hero is not the one that never falls, he is the one that gets up, again and again, never losing sight of his dreams.” - Rock Lee. This quote is a great example of my hero’s perseverance. I can look at him as a role model for many reasons great attitude, always seeing the positive outcome in a negative and never accepting failure. I know my younger self would get frustrated then
Most people grow up having someone they look up to, their role model. Whether that being one of your parents, or a celebrity, you respect them and would like to grow up to imitate their actions or success. My role model is Tyler Joseph. He is the singer in the aspiring band, “Twenty One Pilots”. He is a kind-hearted person, an influential writer, and a unique person in general.
The person I chose to admire as a role model is "Chris" from the Television series called, "Skins". Chris is my favorite character from the show. He is the character that inspired me the most and is my role model. I love his personality and some of the things he does. Chris is a risk taker, he loves everyone, and does not care what people think of him. The negative ratings from the show cause people to have a negative view of him. I do not think so because he is spontaneous and does what he wants to do without hesitation. He is a strong character, fights for what he loves and does it. This show made everyday life enjoyable and worth watching. He is unbelievably brave.
Many people have a person that they look up to and who encourages them. It's someone who I think doesn't give up and gets back up when they fall down, who has an impact to other people around them and they work for what they have earned. A person that is a role model to me is a man named Kobe Bryant. He is a basketball player that accomplished many things in his career. He was also born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Biography Today 44). He is someone who overtime has shown persistence and courage throughout his career in basketball. Kobe Bryant was a role model and inspiring basketball player that had a great legacy in the NBA.
Have you ever had someone that you look up to? Well, most people in the world do have role models. Whether it is a family member, a friend, or just a great person, role models are phenomenal things for people to have. Role models can help you strive for greatness, or make you yearn to be an overall better person. One individual that I look up to is Derek Jeter because he lived a life full of adversity, he attacks challenges with ferocity, and he performs under intense pressure.
I don’t understand why so many people only have one role model when they’re surrounded by many inspiring people. A role model is a person who is looked up to because of their values, attitude and behavior. Living in Barrow, Alaska, we Inupiat are very reliant on our traditional way of life. Our Inupiaq language is dying out, and not many people want to learn it; but the ones that do want to learn have a hard time because there is very few that fluently speak Inupiaq. Luckily, I want to learn our language and I have people in my life to teach me. It is hard to choose just one role model, so I narrowed it down to two very important people that inspire me.
To begin with, a role model is hardworking. Erin’s dad had to overcome many obstacles in his early life. “He was not from the richest family and had many financial issues. He also had to experience many of his close family members dying. As he grew older, he was able to build himself a career and become
Abraham Lincoln is my example of a role model. He was born in a log cabin in Kentucky in the year 1809. After his mother died when he was nine years old, he was raised with his sister, step brother, and two step sisters. Although he did not go to school, his love for reading was very helpful to his education. He worked his way up to become the sixteenth president and accomplished many great things.
J.K. Rowling is my role model. She has taught me a lot, even though I don't know her in person, but her story is very inspiring. She has taught me quite some things about life, especially, to never give up on things, that make you happy.
