In school, your instructor and your classmates constitute the audience for your work, given the setting, your audience will only be so diverse. Your instructor will ask you to write your paper following his or her specific guidelines, and will grade you on how well you present your findings. An academic setting may simulate professional requirements in your field it also falls short of fully capturing the specifics for every job because it must accommodate the typical scenarios of many. The audience for your work-related research; however, can include numerous and diverse individuals and groups. Your boss may give you a question to answer or a problem to solve, and may even suggest some sources to consult but usually you cannot expect
While writing my first Major Paper it was clear to me that we had to write to an educated audience, include
Recently there has been a growing request for options to telework/telecommute in various departments within the company. I recommend the Human Resource department adopt a policy that will include procedures for selection criteria, approval of planned schedule, work, or project, and managerial oversight. To meet the needs of our employees we recognize having more flexibility in work schedules will alleviate work and family conflict by adopting a policy around telecommuting (Pynes, 2014, pg 265). Having a formal policy in place will minimize any misuse of this perceived benefit and will ensure all requests are considered fairly.
else. If no countertransference is identified or the counselor is able to ethically work through it, there is nothing wrong with allowing a client to complete homework during the first 10 minutes of the session. Upon completion, the client and counselor will have time to discuss what the client wrote down and work through different treatment options. If this option is not feasible, and the other two alternate actions were unsuccessful. The counselor should consider another form of treatment. Other forms that the counselor could try are in office scenario role playing or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Sometimes failure can really be the best teacher. This was the case with the Lakeview Regional Hospital Simulation Exercise. During the simulation, I learned a lot about working with a team, knowing when to stand firm and when to compromise. I have been a part of plenty of projects, but sometimes I can be a little lost when it comes to the healthcare aspects of things. It was during these times that I looked to my teammates to assist with filling in some valuable blanks about the healthcare environment. I do have a lot of experience with introducing technology, training and media relations. It was during these parts of the simulation that I could really lend a helping hand. The simulation illustrated the importance of buy-in amongst the implementation team as well as other members of the entire organizations. It showed that there will always be some inherent resistance, but that doesn’t mean that change is impossible as long as there is some flexibility.
Before joining my Masters in Business administration, I have done few researches at my working places, not knowing that there are some many methods, approaches, etc. Thanks to Dr. Stephen Sommerville, for teaching me to do research in the professional way. Let my first research be the critical review of my own positionality i.e. who am I to me and in the others point of view? Does my positionality affect the research works I took or will take?
The use of simulation allows students to experience hypothetical clinical scenarios without threat of harm to patients. One of the objectives of running the simulation is to allow to experience and learn from various scenarios that they will likely encounter on the nursing floor and provide an opportunity to apply theory into practice. Prior to this simulation, we were introduced to several literature covering concepts on nursing responsibilities when floating, impaired nursing, diversion of medication, reasonable suspicion, and the AACN standards for establishing and sustaining healthy work environments. Such concepts help the nurse to practice her profession safely and transform into a leader that can initiate and influence change towards the success of an organization.
An educational journey consists of effective study habits which will require researching various sources, managing personal/family life, and balancing work and school. Research is very important. It will either hurt you or help you, depending on your research skills and time management skills. Research helps link one’s ideas to true and tested studies that can help prove a stance on a particular subject matter. When one is able to provide information backed up by empirical studies, one’s information can begin to flourish. For example, think about the various magazines that are sold nationwide. The National Enquirer is seen to be a false, untrue magazine that provides information about subject matters that are not even true. Even though, the National Enquirer is a great attention getter, there are surmountable people who know the stories printed inside are not believable. In regards to research, students should seek out reputable sources that can enhance their writing skills which in turn will help to write a better paper. Research provides valuable knowledge for the student. The student may already know the information but the research will give added seasoning to that knowledge. Just like cooking, one knows how to cook a turkey but, it’s the seasonings that will bring the turkey to life. Those seasoning ideas may come from various individuals.

The customer simulation exercise of Minnesota Micromotors Inc, was a very intriguing one. It exposed me to a variety of moving pieces that enable a successful business performance across different objectives and parameters.

While writing the research paper it's important to know know who's my audience and the purpose i need to get across. I must first ask who cares to know the target audience i want to reach to understand more on how to reach them most effectively. After picking an audience it's important to keep in check on why the information matters. Graff, Gerald, and Cathy Birkenstein. 93. Such as, making sure i don't run on about a topic when it doesn't have to deal with the subject of my paper in a clear sense
Workspace Rough Draft Today, roughly half of the workers are unsatisfied with their work environment. Contrary to popular belief, work environment plays a crucial role in assisting the worker. By putting workers in different settings, scientists observed a change in performance, focus, or teamwork. Although science convinces its audience with experimentation, Mirvis argues that many influential writers used the comfort of their bed to write (Mirvis 22). Each comes to the conclusion that people are more adapt to choosing a workplace that suits their needs.
Audience. Just one word yet it stirs frighteningly confusing images of perplexing thoughts in my mind. The word alone is strange, but when put in context of an essay it leaves me baffled and frustrated[d1] . The questions; “What is Audience?” “Why do I need it?” and, “What purpose does it serve?” are important to my finally some day understanding the concept of Audience, but at this point I can’t answer them fully[d2] . I can grasp the understanding of all the other aspects of writing an essay, although I may not incorporate them well in my paper at least I see why they are important. Audience, to me, is not so easy to understand.
Integrated work how ever has limitations. Whitaker, P (2002) identifies that the process can be complex and stressful for the family and even the agencies. For the family, the level of meetings and attend medical appointments can both be can be time consuming and tedious. It may be difficult for Emily to get a job and if she does, she may not be able to commit to it. She may also feel judged and her privacy is invaded. The level of information may also overwhelm her and may become confusing. Whitaker (2002) suggests that the agencies must put their individual agendas aside and perhaps have joint meetings without the family at first so that they present agreed options for the family. Pugh (1996:135) affirms that “a shared philosophy, vision
We were four in our group and we were given a scenario of a patient who was having an anaphylactic reaction from bee sting venom. The group agreed that I will be the primary nurse. As the primary nurse, I knew that I had to lead and supervised our group in responding to the emergency situation at hand. Having played the role of a primary nurse in this simulation, I have gained meaningful experience, which I can use in my future nursing practice.
