Internal and external stakeholders were positively and negatively affected by Micky Arison's decision to avoid contact with the media. Internal stake holders consist of employees, owners, and the board of directors. External stake holders are people of groups in the organization's external environment that are affected by it. Board of directors are the internal stakeholders that were negatively affected by Micky Arison's decision to remain out of the public eye after the Costa Concordia disaster. Economic forces had no influence on Arison's decision to avoid communication about the sinking of the Costa Concordia because it deals with the general economic conditions and trends. Technological forces had no influence because they're was no new developments in methods for transforming resources into goods and services. Demographic forces had no influence because they were not dealing with any changes in the characteristics of a population such as age or gender. Political legal forces had no influence because politics didn't change the shape of the laws and laws that shape opportunities for and threats to an organization. International forces had no influence because they're were no changes in the economic, political, legal, and technological global systems that may affect an organization. Therefore the only generally environment force that influenced Arison's decision to avoid communication about the sinking of the Costa Concordia was the sociocultural force. 3.
