Did you know Italy is said to have more masterpieces per square mile than any other country in the world? With your love of art and culture I can’t think of a better place to spend our spring break. The museums and famous pieces speak for themselves, with your Catholic background I know you would love to see The Sistine Chapel and The Last Supper. Another huge selling point is the food, for as long as I can remember pizza has been your favorite food and where better to get it than where it was made famous. I know you want to go to the Caribbean and lay out on the beach, but Italy is surrounded by beaches where we can lay out and get tan while eating pizza.
The overall cost would just around the same amount we were planning on spending already

During spring break I am looking forward to going to Florida. I am looking forward to going to Florida because I cannot wait to get in the ocean and on the beach. Also I am looking forward to getting to sleep in and not have to go to school. Also in Florida I am looking forward to hanging out with some friends from other schools. Something else I am looking forward to is being in the warm and in the pool. I also cannot wait to get tanner than I already am because I seem pale compared to what I normally look like. Also I am actually looking forward to the plane ride so I can watch my movie and eat some nuts and pretzels. I also cannot wait to get to wear shorts and not be cold. Another thing I am looking forward to during spring break is being

The movie “The Last Supper” is based on a Cuban historical event in the 18th century that takes place around the sugar cane plantations that a count has. When the count arrives at his plantations, he decides to meet with the foreman Manuel, and with the priest, who are the two people in charge of running the plantations when he is not around. The foreman and the priest puts the count in touch with the news that have occurred during his absence. Speaking with the priest, the count realizes that the religious instruction of the black slaves is not going well. In this situation, the count, who closely follows the Catholic religion, decides to imitate Jesus's "Last Supper" with his disciples and gathers twelve slaves on Holy Thursday.
The Last Supper was painted circa 1495 by Leonardo Da Vinci, and commissioned under Ludovico Sforza for the Dominicans of Santa Maria delle Grazie. From the beginning, the painting was considered a masterpiece and therefore, Leonardo was praised time and again for the technical aspects of his masterpiece. Vasari, the first man to write a book of artists' biographies, exclaimed, "a Last Supper, a most beautiful and marvelous thing; and to the heads of the Apostles he gave such majesty and beauty, that he left the head of Christ unfinished, not believing that he was able to give it that divine air which is essential to the image of Christ." Vasari, like most was entranced by the beauty of Leonardo's technique. Even today, most of the books
A little bit on the art: In this project I did a series of three drawings that depict key moments in European Jewish history. I tried to use the medieval style of drawing by which I mean that I tried to keep my drawings linear and two-dimensional, as three-dimensional drawing was not truly conceived until the Renaissance. I also looked at the history behind what paints were made of during the Middle Ages. The colors in paintings were very muted at the time due to primitive means of producing hues.
California is the place that every person and the world wants to go for their spring break. I was very happy that my girlfriend’s mom is a travel agent, so we got a pretty good deal for the prices of our flight and on the hotel prices.
Salvador Dali’s painting, The Sacrament of the Last Supper (oil on canvas, 65 ¾ x 105 ½ in., c. 1995), has become one of his most iconic paintings from his “late” period. This painting portrays one of the most famous scenes from the Bible, the Last Supper, depicting the twelve disciples eating their final meal with Jesus. This scene has been created many times throughout history by many different artists. However, through Salvador Dali’s use of equal symmetry, the uncommon setting he chose and the interesting perspective and focal points, he was able to recreate a completely unique version of this common biblical scene while adding his twist of surrealism.
A site which contains the tomb at which the traditions of some religious groups, including Roman Catholics and Orthodox Christians, say Jesus was buried and resurrected has been repaired and restored, a repair team announced on Monday.
The ancient tabernacle of Moses was a sacred and holy place for the people of Israel. It served as a tool for the people to remember God and to look forward to their promised Messiah. The tabernacle was so integral to the lives of the Israelites that they even built the tabernacle in the center of their encampments during their journeys (Yom Kippur). The tabernacle also served many purposes for the Israelites in their rituals, ceremonies, and beliefs of their religion. Many practices that the ancient Israelites performed in and for the tabernacle anciently, may seem peculiar to the modern thought process or many beliefs today. The main focus of the tabernacle was the day of Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement. On this day, the Israelites would gather and watch as a high priest performed the rituals in the tabernacle that would rid the sins of the people of Israel. This day and ceremony was a very important aspect to Israelites’ beliefs and the tabernacle was the main tool for their ceremonies. The tabernacle and the day of Yom Kippur served many purposes in helping the Israelites to remember their God, learn from symbols, and to help them strive to obey their God’s commandments.
The image of Jesus I have chosen captures Jesus and his disciplines during the Last Supper, as it is told in the Gospel of John, 13:21 and Luke 22. The image was created by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1408 at The Convent of Santa Maria Delle Grazie, Milan and has since, been a very important image to many Christians as we see Jesus in a new light. The Gospels tell us that in this photo, Christ has his last meal before his death and predicts that one of this faithful disciples will betray him when he says, "very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me." The painting portrays Jesus as a kind, loving and faithful figure, someone who many Christians would have looked up to during the Renaissance period and would have definitely complimented the attitudes, beliefs and teachings of Christ at the time.
