Before this meeting I have rehearsed a lot in order to present clearly and within time limit. During the presentation I learnt how to overcome fear and nervousness, I have also understood that eye contact and body language plays important role in delivering a good presentation. I felt that my audience is very comfortable and satisfied with my presentation.
After my presentation Mr. Lee asked me some relevant and challenging questions, although I managed to answer them reasonably, I felt that there are some areas that I need to improve e.g. command of language and my pronunciations.
After the three meeting and discussion, I realize that as a future accountant to be, it is important to equip all the skill and knowledge gain from three meetings and learnt from experienced person e.g. my mentor Mr. Lee to cut short my learning curve.
Question 2: How well do you think that you have answered your research questions? (372 words)
I am glad to choose the right topic, which provided me a good opportunity to reflect the knowledge and skill that I have learnt from “The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants” (ACCA) studies”. I can put the knowledge I learnt in F7 “Financial Reporting “, P2 “Corporate Reporting” and F9” Financial Management” for the Ratio analysis and P3 “Business Analysis” in organization’s strategy to practical application.
Not like ACCA which is an examination based qualification, RAP
I will look to the feedback and criticisms given in order to improve on my presentation and communication skills for the future.
(Q.2.) In comparison to my demonstration speech, I believe the introduction to my informative speech was much stronger, because I told a story instead of asking a question. My story allowed for my audience to have a mental picture of what I was talking about. How I related child development to my audience was much more effective in my informative speech than my demonstration speech. In my demonstration speech, not everyone raised their hand when I asked my question. In my informative speech, I related it to my audience by saying everyone has went through child development. I felt more confident in my informative speech because I practiced many times in front of my family and friends. I got marked points off for being too read-y in my demonstration speech, so for my informative speech I worked on not memorizing the whole thing. By not memorizing my informative speech I felt more confident while presenting.
Q1. Discuss the steps that Comau took to strengthen its project portfolio management process and its project management skills within Comau.
Also, there were some difficulties that came about during my speech, one of those difficulties being inadequate direct eye contact. During the length of the speech there were not many time where I looked up and talked directly to my classmates. Something I could have done better to improve this would be to practice even more to ensure that I wouldn’t need to look at my notecards and slides as often. I also could have practiced when to look up and have a successful glance at my audience to have improved eye contact.
4. Describe and discuss issues in the IntensCare Project Team (goals, leadership, power issues, design of team and it’s dynamics, conflict).
4. What do you see as the strengths of the paper, and what would you try to do if you were to revise it some more?
What was the research question? (Some authors are more general and state only a “purpose” for the research study. If so, indicate the
-Information and Communication1Activity 2A:Q1:For each of the following practices related to information, explain how they aremanaged within your project.GeneratingGatheringStoringRetrievalAnalysis.A1:1-There are several ways of generating information by which we could manage the project. We have used the following methods in order to generate the information within our project:-Requesting suggestions and feedback from stakeholders and project staff, which is a convenient way to create the information as their suggestions and ideas would be of help to the whole structure as well as to the refined parts of the project ;-Taking advantage of Feedback Forms, which is again practically working well for a project
Write a conclusion. Do you accept or reject your hypothesis based on your results? Why? Remember, if it does not fully agree, you must reject it. That’s OK! (2 pts.)
3. Was the speech well-organized? Did it have a robust introduction, a solid body with specific main points, and a conclusion? How was the time allotment for each section (too long, too short?) Were the times dedicated to each section appropriate? (Introduction and Conclusion: between 45 seconds to1 minute; Body: main points each 1:15 – 1:30)
The reason for this reflection is to review what has happened in a deeper level than just summarizing what has happened over the course of this project. During the weeks learned some things, not just from the book that I was reading, but also from participating in a group. The lessons I learned led to my group being successful in the few goals that were created. All of the goals were met in different ways whether it would be just finishing the book or us getting up in front of the whole class to present the google slides that we created.
I have shown huge improvements on delivering speeches. This process helped me to understand different kinds of speech and their expectations. The only way I can think of improving is that to get myself be confortable and to do more preparations. Therefore, the mistakes I made in this will help me to improve on the next
Q8: Write a report that outlines the information you have gathered and any recommendations you would make as a result.
Do you think you cannot give hundred percent when you are presenting something? If you have this kind of thinking, have you ever tried to make it better? Sometimes I really think that we always want to give the best while presenting my speech or talk. So I just wonder on how I can improve my present? I believe that not all of you can stand in front and talk with the high level of confidence. Speech is the one of the type of oral communication. What is oral communication? Oral communication implies communication through mouth. It is a vital part of life in relationship, education, and careers.
