Researches have suggested that exercises late in life may reverse the signs of ageing and maintain a younger skin appearance (30).
A recent study was done at McMaster University in Ontario to see whether the signs of ageing were unavoidable. This study involves mice as test subjects that they were designed to age prematurely. The mice was put on a regimen of exercises, where the results have showed that it prevented the signs of ageing and even reverse the early ageing in the mice. Mark Tarnopolsky, a professor of paediatrics and exercise science discovered that exercise could give people a younger look approximately 20 to 30 years. The team tested the effect of exercise by collecting data from 29 men and women at the ages between 20 and 84.(30) Half of the participants were active, with at least three hours of exercises every week, whereas others are sedentary, with less than an hour of exercise per week.
