Slavery and human trafficking has grown into a serious issue all over the world today. Trafficking can be put into many categories such as: sex trafficking, child labor, United States. It has been broadly neglected, and despite the fact that there are a few laws and statements prohibiting the act of trafficking it still happens. Human trafficking suggests the selling and purchasing of humans as property. In order for human trafficking to be successful it requires at least two willing participants, one who is eager to sell and one who is eager to buy. Every year, somewhere around 600,000 and 800,000 individuals are trafficked internationally, as indicated by the U.S. Bureau of State. These numbers include men, women, and children. But these numbers do exclude individuals that are trafficked inside the same countries they live in. People are bought, sold and traded constantly in the world of human trafficking. Trafficking can be put into different categories. There are different types of trafficking. Although, the three most common are sex trafficking, forced labor and debt bondage. There are a few laws set up to battle human trafficking, both on a national and international scale. More efforts from law enforcement agencies, human rights organizations, women and children’s rights organizations can help stop human trafficking. Law enforcement agencies can concentrate on trafficking as an infringement of criminal laws, the human rights system concentrates on trafficking as an infringement of the individual's human rights
