In September, I had the opportunity to visit the Naval Academy for a “Candidate Visit Weekend.” During my two-night visit, I was paired with a current midshipman, whom I accompanied to classes, meals, and a sports practice. Personally experiencing daily life at the Academy and meeting current midshipmen has reinforced my desire to join their ranks. The most inspiring thing about the midshipmen I met was the effort that they put into succeeding. Being a part of this culture, even for two days, has shown me that I can work just a little harder, and that I can push myself just a little further. Since returning home, I have done just that in numerous ways.

Are CIS Classes Good for High School Students? Last year, at Kingsland High School’s Graduation Ceremony, Josie Hinze not only receiveed her High School Diploma, but also her Associates of Arts Degree before even attending any college or university. Fast-forward to one year later, and seven Kingsland students will be graduating high school with both their High School Diploma and AA Degree thanks to the collaboration of Riverland Community College and Kingsland High School for allowing high school students to take college-level courses in high school and receive college credit for them. Not only that, but there are several others who will be graduating Kingsland High School with transferrable college credit so their first few semesters might
The purpose of this letter is to apply for the Waldoboro Woman’s Club scholarship for those who intend on continuing their education of higher learning. Devin McCraney and Sharika Allison were the District Finance officers and Controllers for the BISD school district. They were caught for committing fraudulent and illegal activities from 2010 to 2014. This started after Devin was promoted as the Director of Finance and Allison was promoted to Controller as she worked directly under him. In 2012, they took advantage of fraudulent behavior because they had access to all of the finances in balancing checks and wiring transfers.

Over the years, I had heard about Wake Forest simply from living in North Carolina, from hearing about their sports teams, and from knowing several people who attended Wake Forest. As I began my college search throughout high school, looking for a college that fit what I was looking for, I kept running into Wake Forest. I decided that I really wanted to apply to Wake Forest because, after looking into the school more and talking to some friends that currently attend, it seemed exactly like the college that I would love and be honored to go to. Wake Forest has impressed me with its academics, its campus and community, and its small and personal learning environment. Getting an education and spending a few very important years of my life at Wake
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is definitely the school for me, and I would be a great candidate for the school with the help from Granville Early College High School and everything they have done to prepare me for the college life. The acceptance call I got from Granville Early College High School my 8th grade summer, is a memorable day. My mind was everywhere because I was so excited and so nervous to make that choice in whether I was going or not, with the motivation of family I made the right decision. This was an meaningful event, experience and accomplishment all wrapped into one. It impacts my college experience because I get to have a taste of the college life, it prepares me to be a good student in the University of
I have choose the fact of Manheim Central School District is thinking on suing Doe Run School. The reason I have chosen this is because I used to go to Manheim Central High School and they didn’t have A/C in the classrooms without computers but the district wouldn’t do anything about it. Plus I was in school when Doe Run had to evacuate their building for CONSTRUCTION mishaps. So the buildings construction that Manheim Central School District paid to build was falling apart. So this issue is unnecessary to me for those reasons and many other reason but those are the main reasons.

Learning something new is one of the things I can honestly say I enjoy, and I’m consistently seeking a challenge for the education in my life and based off Asmsa’s prestige reputation and my 2-week stay experience from “Project Helix”; it is more clear than ever that Asmsa is the place for me. In Finnie Tyler High School, there is no mission, vision, or goals driving learning. Each teacher does what they want, when they want. This is an ineffective approach to instruction because students have a difficult time making connections between various subject matters and learning does not necessarily build from one concept to the next or even from one class to the next. Another issues is that teachers are professionally isolated, meaning they do not collaborate with one another. Collaboration is extremely important in improving instructional practices.
