Snowball is a hard worker who is creative and passionate about ideas. He is a positive influence on the farm and he cares for all the animals. For example in the book, it says, “Snowball read it aloud for the benefit of the others” (19). Snowball was an honorable and kind pig, who believed in the promising farm. He was not only great with the people but a fantastic military strategist. He led the battle of cowshed and if it wasn’t for him the surely would have lost. Snowball was also intelligent, he was independent and taught himself “to read and write from an old spelling book” (18). He would study and educate himself for the better of the farm which did because he was able to build the windmill that did indeed help the farm. Snowball was a selfless, caring, and devoted leader and would have to lead the farm to excellence. …show more content…

Snowball though felt bad for his fellow pig’s actions and, so he took up extra work. He came up with better ways to help the farm in production and their living situation. He built the windmill to benefit the animals not him, it was to make up for what the pigs had taken. “Snowball speaks passionately about the animals about the paradise the windmill will create,” (35). Snowball’s passion for the animals allowed him to be vulnerable to Napoleon and his sinister plots. Snowball dove into his work which made him blind to what Napoleon’s real actions were. Snowball was sometimes blind to the truth because he always looked at the bigger picture. The book says snowball, “not considered to have the same depth of character” (12).
