Social Disorganization According to Sierra Paquette-Struger reporter for the The Ontarion on September 9th, Ahmed Mohamed, young fourteen year old boy, was wrongfully arrested for bringing a homemade clock to MacArthur school. Mohamed successfully built a working clock and brought to school with the intentions to show his teachers. Mohamed is a young “minor who was detained and interrogated for hours and denied access to a lawyer and his parents. He was accused of something egregious and made to feel like a terrorist” (Paquette-Struger, 2015). Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, the father of the victim, believes that his son was treated wrongfully due to their Muslim religion and the events of the previous terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.…show more content…
After one year of sentence for sexual assault, police are warning the citizens of the Toronto area to be careful. Richard will be residing in Toronto and is to report to a probation officer. Patterson has a “history of reoffending and has faced charges for sexual assault, sexual interference and failing to comply with a court order” (Jeffords, 2015). In addition, suitable target can also be an objects such as an unlocked car or something that is accessible and easily moved (Dumas, 2015). For example, suitable targets would be victim with lots of money, not at home as a result, making their house a easy and accessible target. These victims are usually watched for a period of time while the perpetrator has planned out their schedule and is able to have a plan of attack. These criminals pick targets and commit crime for more then one reason. For instance, some criminals steal for pleasure or need.
