Thanks for your unfiltered opinions Keri. We should sit down for lunch some time. Being bashed on Facebook by someone who wants me to "quit bashing people on Facebook" was ironic and a little bit humorous-- in a hypocritical way. But hypocrisy is usually easier to spot in other people than it is in ourselves. Which is exactly why robust, open and frequent discussions via social media are so important. Friction polishes even the roughest stones. Board membership and meetings are important. But remember to talk to the people you represent. I will. You were a "Fresh Face" once, too. If the last leaders shared your passion for "no new faces," you wouldn't presently have the privilege of serving our city. I am only the first of many more who will come to serve. The residents who are reading these words crave candid viewpoints and clear facts so that they can weigh-in on election day, and find their values represented in the decisions of their elected leaders.
